Thanks for all the help guys, we tried an older scanner and it had a lengthy chat with the Galaxies brain, apparently there isn't must wrong with it, osf speed sensor Chucked it through an MOT with it only needing some pads and a bit of welding Result, I'm reckoning £1290 PX to clear.....

Agreed, the responsibility is the buyers, end of...... I always write a note on file if they drive off untaxed.......... Take note, long story, I sold a £700 PX banger to a moron who threatened me 4 days later that the A/C wasn't working and wanted a full refund. I sold it on the 26th of the Month and he hadn't taxed it. Anyway the RD letter came through stating blah CRA... I replied saying I was happy to go to court Ill be happy to explain you were driving around untaxed and as such uninsured...... Stopped the little shit in his tracks...

Classified is fixed advert for at 28 days. Auctions attract scabbers and BIN leaves you vulnerable to negative feedback and non payers. The only way is classified.....

Disagree completely, I go to certain shops because I like their brand quality and service. It's the same in every industry, brand quality and service sells. Cars are absolutely no different, not everyone buys from primark.

Maybe its just a generic letter..... The DVLA cannot transfer the customers responsibility to tax the car onto us.. Car tax is now a personal tax........ Imaging being able to blame the HMRC if you don't pay your tax.... Laughable !

Classified is the only way you can advertise on ebmp, you pay for a package of cars monthly. Don't waste your time auctioning unless its for disposal purposes only. Classified advert all the way, make sure you write a comprehensive honest description with 20 photos and you won't look back

The Lawgistics "unroadworthy vehicle invoice" covers my ass stating it must be tailored away, in addition I like to get them to confirm on video so they fully understand, video stops the cretins

The problem is you are responsible for the repair, you haven't covered yourself. I'm with Lawgistics and use their purchase receipts etc. You can buy on eBay and be done with the problem again.
