  2. Romanian purchased for export, soon to be clocked...... Classified.
  3. It’s rare I scrap, I tell em if your car is less that £500 as a px, it’s not attractive as a PX to retail. I say I can dispose of the car for you and normally work out a deal. I get maybe 5/6 year which are left with me, otherwise I get them to mot their car prior to PX and allow cap average. That way I know I’m not buying a money pit.
  4. Jimbo, I’ll try that with a cheeky smile over the phone
  5. Erm, let me check my diary......................let me see.........hang on...............no
  6. Your insurer will need to know where your cars are kept so they can underwrite your policy correctly. Unless you tax every car you will need Trade plates.
  7. Earunder thoroughly excellent post, welcome to the forum:) Arfur
  8. Andy, why buy into the grief.......I'm "flashbacking" and genuinely annoyed I've read and responded to this post... Deposit up front is the only way.....Demand respect from the off....Best of luck
  9. You'll need numerous insurances, your Traders Policy will need multiple addresses, CCTV security, Public liability, trade plates, planning for usage agreed by the council..... Its not as straightforward as you might think.....
  10. Alex, I received your PM, I’m sure you have blanket sent the same message. I’m afraid my time = money.
  11. Keep your costs low, beat the competition. logistics will be the issue, moving stuff is always an issue from a2b.... it is for me..

  13. Sold £1300 !!! Just paid all upfront, collecting Saturday
  14. NVP, are you backing yourself ? do you have any experience in the Trade ? Who's backing you, parents friends.... No one decides with no experience to rent a 30 pitch site....
  15. Agreed, in 31 years I have never offered a warranty... Absolutely no need to on older cars. Mr Customer, no Insurance company will cover wear an tear, without weaseling out of it. Your Consumer Rights states clearly wear n tear inst covered. When you buy a car year's past its manufacturers warranty it is your responsibility to take ownership / repair and maintain it. All of my cars are freshly MOT'd and independently inspected to insure they are fit for purpose at the point of sale........You take Mr Customer responsibility from there on
  16. The grading system really is pot luck, however I agree it definitely benefits the buyer.... Bought a 60 plate V70 D5 today with an "engine idles unevenly", there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.....
  17. If you have a full independent inspection stating the car was all good then you've covered yourself, the customer would have to prove the fault was there are the point of sale (that's only for 30 days). Fare wear and tear is not covered by the CRA
  18. A couple of email sniffs, but nothing serious as yet...
  19. I think it’s by noon the next day, but don’t quote me on it...
