Has anyone considered offering an auction buying service to the general public? As horrific as it sounds, I'm seeing a few guys doing this regularly. One guy I've noticed (a regular face), has been dragging this posh couple around for weeks trying to buy a Gwagon. I assume you're paid by the hour?

So, we need a definition of the word 'popular' in this context? most popular car searched for? most popular car advertised? most popular car purchased?

Was it BHM? -
What i dont understand about taxing on the green slip is, and bearing in mind dvla encourage you to use their website to update change of ownership (electronically), what happens when the guy goes home and tells dvla that he no longer owns the car but is trying to continue taxing it?

Florist a mate if mine set his wife up as a florist years ago. He ended up working for her. Plus an endless stream of customers that fall in love, marry and die. With lots of expensive flowers needed at every stage!

But he will go home and jump on dvla website to inform them he's sold the car so he is mo longer responsible for it, doesn't he then tell them who he sold it to?

Is that most popular car searched for, or purchased?

I thought mechanics had a regular source of stock coming through their door every day?

Your favourite auction bidding strategy...

My manheim equivalent to blackbushe would be colchester with a couple if lanes running. But you get used to 'the competition', the faces that you end up bidding against regularly and they know you! I'm interested to know what my competitors are buying and for how much. But from a distance! -

How do you guys deal with showing interest in a car without giving the game away? I seem to be one of those guys that draws attention with anything i'm looking at. I like to arrive super early and do as many checks as possible. Then try not to linger on a car for too long. Helps to keep moving and arrive in the hall like a 'bandit'. Never been one for following a car into the hall with my hand on the roof! Lol -
I know. It's almost as though they revel in bad news. You probably get a ban if you post anything positive

I guess an insurance buy back is the worst of both worlds if the owner either didn't bother to repair or just did a 'belt and braces' job to keep the thing roadworthy?

Groan! Another IT blunder designed by computer graduates who give us what 'they' want!

Whats the current thinking on retailing a car with accident history?

It 'is' the future, whether we like it or not. Especially when he can start acquiring specialist knowledge and contacts for repair work. Interesting. i'd rather stick pins in my eyes than sell Micra's around here! I'm sure over the next few years all the smokey old bangers will get shipped up north for you!

We joined the 'common market' because our economy in the 70s was on its knees. It was our salvation. -
I've been tempted by Blackbushe, but the thought of having to get back by rail to pick something up is a big groan Is that 'traveller' site still opposite?

Well, he's describing 'London commuter land', so anywhere from Brighton in the South, to Northampton up north, probably beyond too

Hasn't Rees Mogg set one up in Dublin, oh wait no that's something else! If I remember rightly, back in the 2008/9 times, all the 'big' boys were panicking and starting buying bangers at the block for silly money?
