Realisticly the bottom end of the prices it probably about right between £1500 to £2000 im unsure if he means he's had different prices between that or if that was what one person said Although I was half joking if someone said 10k to me my genuine reply to him would have been no thank you mate I'll scrap it first

I think your margins are where it needs to be really Mark not greedy at all in-fact-as you say very reasonably at just over £1300 I've asked the question before with a few other trader friends at auction and most traders say they are aiming for around a £1500-£2000 mark up . Thats what most seem to be aiming for really
  9. I meant surely if you have a correct trade policy and your driving a car in connection with the motor trade like a road test as stated how can police man say he has no insurance .. I've changed it never noticed my typos
  10. Sounds to me like plod is in the wrong trade insurance driving for trade use so should be covered

  12. I would say no as your insured with trade policy they can legally fine you no road tax due to forgetting the trade plates ..

Welcome to the forum I would seek legal advice but in my view a copy of the receipt should prove you sold the vehicle and pass on there name and address as above also in future if you sell a vehicle into the trade write a letter to the dvla saying you sold the car to another trader providing the name and address

  20. I think it fine honestly remember also that some people photograph there cars at different sites and locations so the customer probably won't even notice or ask
