  1. I think Zuto uses AT's FCA as AT effectively introduces the client. I don't have FCA yet (awaiting VAT Number, despite being registered).
  2. I know, I incorporated about 3 months after starting insurance + £500 for remaining term.
  3. Don't ask, I will update you tomorrow night. There's things a happening
  4. Crap here and so are most of the other garages/valeters/workshops from what I can tell. Still I'm full of stock, so await the rush - no panic here.
  5. Tradewise for me too and we've had the MID debate before. I do and will continue to add all my stock to MID and I delete them the minute a deal is concluded.
  6. I have done a Zuto - sent invoice, paid within 24 hours, customer collects.
  7. I have a basic package with CD5 and I have to say, I get regular compliments. It is so easy to a manage and for viewers to scan through. Some of the more sophisticated sites are too much hard work trying to get to the actual stock, relevant advert and lets face it, that's all the majority want, not whizzy fast cars scrolling across the screen and tales of how long we have been in business and we partener with this that and the other.
  8. I have the same https://www.imperial-marques.co.uk/cars/mercedes/clcclass/clc180kompressorsport/203066/ This is a mint 2011 plate but that plate really devalues it and I don't want to add a keeper.
  9. For a proper job, primer has to be specific to the top coat (there isn't a one fits all). However, for touch ins, try ACID8 or similar etch primer, required when preparing for paint over bare metal.
  10. 44 and overweight - handsome though
  11. Beat me to it Mark Nice unit MrC, perfect for your high value relatively low volume set up - hope it goes well.
  12. I've had 2 or 3 really good weeks buying stock
  13. But just don’t say. ”So, going forward I shall continue to join in the banter.”
  14. Now Alanis Morisette should have used that line in her song because that is actually ironic
  15. Element of truth but only affects some models with others having to be reg before year end. Wife works for these brands (and others). VW saying costs in excess of £1bn
  16. Pain points when I was in corporate world, shit like that and the dreaded term "going forward" provided some real gravitas during board meetings. Now it makes me cringe. latest irritation is people starting replies to questions with "so."
  17. Inbetweeners reference. Freinds, friends, fucking football friend
  18. What area are you in DCS, I might have a solution.... PM me if you prefer.
  19. I meant, I would pack in (in reality find a unit) but simply "keep" the cars and just leave them all road legal, insured and taxed and in the road.
  20. Hi Marc I too am a home trader but I currently have about 15 cars (including my Transit and my car transporter) on my driveway, only the Transit is in the road, right in the very corner of the cul de sac under a tree (where no one else would want to park). I was worried sick about the neighbours but to be fair they have taken a genuine interest and I go out of my way to befriend them and to respect them. There's still one or two that I "worry" about and one two faced bastard (i can just tell). I do NO mechanical, valeting or prep work at home, it is all farmed out (or done quietly in my garage). I am a quiet neighbour with a lot of cars. Carry on for as long as you can, it may settle or they get bored. My immediate neighbour has offered to take me to collect cars and my postman has actually taken me on 4 or 5 runs. It can and probably will turnaround. Don't worry about the council until it happens. The first neighbour to complain to me will receive. "I park nothing in the road (except the van). If you want to complain, I shall regsiter and tax all 15 vehicles and park every fucking one of them down the street, you decide your next move."
  21. Perhaps you should German and French Specialists I feel your pain having had a Citroen DS3 forever. Right spec, lovely mileage, FSH, 2 Owners but red, only thing worse than red is silver.
  22. Post a link Del Boy We all need a laugh
  23. Took a call yesterday. Im interested in your BMW Me: Which one sir, we have 4 The Touring Me: Yes, still available, how can I help you? I'm also interested in your Focus ST Me: Yes, still available I'm also interested in your 325 Coupe, infact I am interested in a few of your cars. What discount would you do on the 325 Coupe? Me: I don't do discounts and it is fresh in. Do you deliver Me: Yes, I can offer delivery That's great becuase I am too busy to come. Me: No problem, cost will be £X That sounds fair - Can I pay you now with my debit card for the BMW 325 Me: Sorry, I cannot take card payments remotely, only in person. You can bank transfer me the payment, I will send you a proforma invoice. Oh ok, I just need to go and talk to my wife and call you back. Radio silence ever since. Sold the Touring next day to someone else anyway, full price + £100 to extend warranty.
  24. It's one of the reasons I prefer card payments - yes, I pay 1.75% (credit or debit) but no trip to the bank to pay in cash, so only actually .75% extra - worth it in my book. Still prefer bank transfer of course but you can't have it all.
