  1. Guys I have a 2011 DS3 1.6HDI 110 which I sold before Christmas. Customer is amazingly patient and it has been back a few times for service light reset/reisk of particulate filter blocking. We have had the car for a week and finally fitted a new DPF cartridge and all good. I drove the car numerous times and redelivered it yesterday - no faults, powerful and smooth. Today, despite new DPF and pressure pipe plus telling the ECU the DPF has been replaced - same message occured. I ahve offered a full refund but customer loves the car and wants me to fix it. We are scratching our heads here, anyone have any ideas? TIA
  2. I for one am pleased that there is atleast some differentiation and "enhanced" features for those who commit to a package. It annoyed me that plastic traders and private could place an ad for one car, with more or less the same features cheaper than me on a package. Nick is right though, before I signed up - it would really piss me off that you could sell the car on day 1 and unless you had an identical advert, the ad's balance was wasted. At least on a package you can swap and change cars out within your agreed quantity - much better, plus more words, plus video, plus logo, website link - something AT have done right by their committed supporters.
  3. I wish you’d told me that, now I know where I’ve been going wrong - too much prep
  4. I feel your pain Simon - I had 14 days like that until last weeks amazing turnaround.
  5. I used to be in manufacturing. Trouble with increasing the price is you suddenly lose market share, which is probably why manufacturers try to reduce costs before increasing prices.
  6. I imagine it is one of Suzuki's less profitable models and therefore is used as a carrot/bargaining chip to encourage/force dealers to sell there more profitable models. Can you imagine - all the dealers would sell is Jimny's otherwise.
  7. No plates, no renewal, no cashing of cheque. Still, it has only been a couple of months.
  8. I am desperate for some stock, not complaining it is a nice position to be in. I checked in to BCA Online yesterday and could not believe the prices stuff was making, unbelievable.
  9. See I wouldn't do this but to me it is watchable (maybe because he wants to do this and the weather is ok) whereas the one I posted made me peek between my fingers. I thought when he was climbing up the ladder was bad enough, then when he has climbing outside on those flimsy looking telegraph pole type pegs and hooking on occassionally to those same open ended steps for a "rest" and to "check" for lightning strikes - that was it, full on dizzy. I kept thinking perhaps they parachute down but never got to see that bit. It is just crazy how we are all built the same yet some people do this and some even like it - not for me at all.
  10. I knew the second you said he has 15 points what was coming. My Dad has just moved back from France and it is the same there, you lose points instead of gaining them.
  11. I use Close for prime and they refer automatically to Jigsaw for subprime (but no comms with Jigsaw). Depends on term but about 5% of payout in commission.
  12. Just make their job as simple as possible, neatly filed receipts in chronological order, bank statements in order and all your sales invoices in order and I can't see what you'll have to worry about. DO NOT pull out a shoe box full of crumpled up receipts and I (where possible) avoid any hand written receipts.
  13. This is right up TV's street - popcorn and Coke ready
  14. Dave will snap your hand off - cheap 4x4/Scotland/Ex-Gearbox Guru - he is a prime candidate.
  15. Well done Deano - that's brilliant mate....
  16. I mean this, genuinely..... if one of you offered me £1m to do that, I couldn’t - even if I wanted to, my body would freeze - I shit you not, I cannot even stand on a chair without going dizzy and I felt anxious and sick just watching. Each time I thought they had reached the top, there was more especially the last 60’.
  17. 18 days - nothing to worry about. My average days to turn is 44 but that means nothing as some sell in 1 day and some in 180 days - just got to make your ads the best they can be with cars to match and it will come.
  18. About the motor trade. This is my single phobia. Sit somewhere quiet, without distraction and imagine this being your 9-5 - must watch until the end. I cannot watch this without feeling a little strange, scary. https://youtu.be/yCYZZPwJr_c

  20. /\/\/\/\ This Providing you put Subject to Status, Terms and Conditions Apply and your FCA number (see website for full details) - I don't think you'll have too much hassle.
  21. First few weeks of the month I must have had a huge umbrella as it stopped all the rain drops getting to me. I put my brolly down this week and it rained in I know what Nick(?) was trying to describe but in future, I will hang my brolly upside down and catch em all.
  22. I can't add up and you..... You should be a counsellor
  23. Thought that at the exact moment I was typing but I am an OCD freak - I fucking hate the fact my year end is 31st March, not the 31st December - I should have insisted on that as my year end.
