That's the dilema

Well if you're ever down this way (or Leominster), call me and we can have a chat (moan) about things over a bacon sarnie and a coffee.

BCA Gold = Silver Manheim Trouble being, I am about 2 months off Platinum at current run rate - decisions decisions.

Cheers NOA I an Apple and BBC B only - cannot work Android.

I love Gateshead and Newcastle - I have eaten at nearly every restaurant in the city, love the place. Walking over the bridge from Hilton (every other week) to Piccolinos, Hana Hana and numerous others. Took a load of customers bowling (£20k night out that was) think it was called Lane 7? Leominster is about 45 mins from me, never been to the place - notorious place though. Brightwells classics is good though.

I have finally registered with Manheim after they agreed to match my account status with BCA and waive the £70 sign up fee. Being a loyal BCAer for the past year, I am completely proficient with their online systems and catalogues but am finding Manheim's site more difficult to navigate. Is it just me, or is it that I have got comfortable with BCA? The information within Manheim is more thorough IMO but I can't seem to filter by budget. I.e. look for a 1 Series Beemer (repeat customer request) and it brings up everything from £1k to £30k). Yes, I can limit the age range but that isn't the be all - i.e. a low mileage older car can be worth more than a newer high miler. On the whole though, which do you prefer?

Wow, what FL is in the band?

I have so many people ask me if I'm part of the Imperial Group (BCA for example) perhaps I should say yes People seem to struggle with "Marques." Not sure why, it was nicked from the old Top Marques Mag in the 90's - first dabble was Auto Marque Motors (I was 18 and it was a play on my name). Only a handful of people pronounce Marques correctly, many thinking I am an outlet for Millets (they still going?) or Go Outdoors, or wedding tent hire. Probably is a little pretentious but it remains a play on my name.

That's not posh David, it is to combat my OCD/Cleaning of our painted floor. Fawlty Towers Ref (again): Pretentious? Moi..............(or I nearly choked on my Latte) I reckon a few from here are either contemplating it or actually doing it - highly recommend. Floor paint peels off and only looks clean for so long as you don't drive over it.

Sold a Volvo V70 with the ridiculous compass in the rear view mirror - telling what direction you were heading.

You’re quite right TV and having spent 6 years between Gateshead and Newcastle, I could confidently advertise it to appeal further North than the Midlands. The boot is big enough for a crate of pease pudding and the heated seats will keep you warm in the summer but I can’t guarantee it will cope with your winter. Still to this day, I have never seen such a winter as when I was staying in Beamish - icicles hanging from first floor roof to ground floor windows. Everyone made it in to work that day - proper workers (private sector).

Looks like I'm having a trip to Gods Country then because you lot are blowing my mind with shit I know nothing about. Though heater plugs were to aid starting from cold only.

Have you seen where the EGR is on this nightmare car?

Monthly DD absolves much of this issue. Punters for older, flash for no cash don’t give a fuck how much it costs, providing they can put it on the monthly along with their top Sky TV package and 60” plasma from Brighthouse.

For what it is worth - I do £500 per (each) claim limit - up to value if the car. Seems pretty industry standard to me.

My money is on the actual switch (drivers side) and the passenger one not working because the circuit is broken, old Christmas tree light esque. I am not techy but that is my 2p -

He has a couple of Snap On machines - I am less and less impressed with them to be fair. Oh and a new MAC tools one.

Just so I look like I know what I am doing... How can you spot an overfuelling problem. I have driven the car a fair bit and had no issues until the injector, then after than this bloody DPF message.

I green laned a Toyota Surf (remember those) 16 years go now. Like you say, brilliant fun and the stuff the car managed to get through was impressive. Would have liked to have done it in company as I had visions of being stuck alone in the middle of nowhere and having to eat my own arm.
