  1. Mark as sale in progress, complete sale. Then go into sold cars, find it and delete it. Re do the ad from fresh.
  2. None that I know of, tend to find Autotrader works well as long as you understand how to advertise on Autotrader, if you have an account and paid monthly package you can call them up for tips etc.
  3. Ebay is currently one of the worst companies to deal with, no customer service, no response to emails, too many tech problems with adverts randomly being removed or never going live etc. Only way to get them to contact you is by cancelling your direct debit. Car Gurus is better as a company, but I found leads to be very thin on the ground. Odd sale here and there but then dry spells for months.
  4. https://thecomplianceguys.co.uk/ Really good chaps
  5. Vcheck are pretty good, Motorcheck you need a trade account to view the reports
  6. Put a few examples up, I'm sure folk will give you some good pointers
  7. It's all too hard to get anything from BCA, I think it's not too bad if you raise the issue on collection as you can show them the fault, but a nightmare if you get them delivered
  8. +1, get an accountant that has knowledge of motor trade, don't skimp out on a good accountant!
  9. I went from the standard package down to the starter package in Jan of this year, no difference at all. Then went up to advanced in October as a test and sold less that I had in previous months. Now back onto standard package and have been arguing with Autotrader on a weekly basis as they believe I need to spend more money with them to sell more..... even though the advanced package made no difference, if not is was worse. Also, if everyone is on the higher packages, nobody has an advantage? It's just Autotraders way of squeezing more money out of you.
  10. Personally, I think it'd be easier to put a second hand seat in from a breakers yard, unless it's a weird colour combo with heated leather that you'll never be able to find. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-COOPER-R56-Sport-Half-Leather-Black-Interior-Front-Right-Seat-Driver-O-S/252782525865?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D225076%26meid%3D1b4b30cfcd0b442aa41e37aa29145585%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dsb%26sd%3D262866075467%26itm%3D252782525865%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWebWithDarwoV3BBEV2b%26brand%3DMini&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 £100 delivered, I reckon by the time someone's repaired it for a similar price, you'd have the second hand seat in and the car advertised.
  11. All second hand cars, you'd be better off with a pushbike or walking
  12. Don't forget that all important admin fee for printing off some paper
  13. Put it this way, If I went to a restaurant and they charged me for ketchup, I'd up and leave. What happens if someone won't pay for the fuel in the car? Are you going to drain it out?
  14. "I'm not a messer" "I'm in the trade" "My mates a mechanic/ In the trade" "Can you beat this fake finance quote with 1% APR even though I haven't worked in 5 years and have several CCJ's against me?" "I'm not looking to buy, just to test drive" "So are you a car dealer or just flipping these for a profit?" "Do you take paypal?" "Can I have it next week without leaving a deposit?" "Can I pay you £10 a week?" "Can I take it away now if I pay you half now and the other when I get paid" Take your pick
