  1. Yea happening a lot, But as said it always has, I’ve noticed on pricey days they expect to get top money for everything including grade 5’s. Same cars selling a week later for under cap below. If they’ve had a profitable day not sure why they won’t just let lower grade stuff sell cheaper rather than dragging it out.
  2. Guessing this idea will be scrapped now for the time being with the 6 people rule?
  3. I agree with this, feels like we’re all in the same boat now. Before, when watching online, if something was going through the hall cheap it actually put me off bidding as I’d often wonder why nobody in the hall was interested. Stupid as it sounds I feel like I have more confidence bidding online now that I used to.
  4. I was thinking about this too, bca measham is one of our local sites, huge place but very little being sold from there online at the min. All seams to be coming from Walsall. We’re spoilt for choice for bca sites in the midlands so can’t see them keeping them all open personally.
  5. Surely they only have until next month to make a future decision though? Doubt they’ll pay wages of all the drivers, auctioneers, canteen staff etc currently on furlough.
  6. I know this has been mentioned before over the last few months but I was thinking yesterday with furlough ending next month and a lot of auction staff still off work are physical auctions gone for good? Bca seam in no rush to reopen and having recently launched their collection booking app I can’t see it happening anytime soon.
  7. No they’ve mixed all dealership disposals into “dealer sale” now. It should still say who the vendor is on the vehicle description, Pendragon, Bristol street, Trade centre etc. The one you need to watch is “flash sale” as I’ve seen a few multi vendor cars end up in there without being disclosed as multivendor.
  8. They must of changed that as it was only in my name for about a week.
  9. They dont, long story short I bought private just after lockdown when auction prices were through the roof. Seller was being funny about me filling in the trade section of the V5 for some reason so I just put it in my name. WBAC offered me £500 more than I paid for it so off it went to them for a quick flip.
  10. WBAC are not doing that. I traded a van into them a few weeks back, it was going through bca two days later.
  11. Really wouldn’t let it worry you, the way things are at the min it’s probably been driven straight from the dealership, through the auction gates and into the photo booth.
  12. Been ok with assured reports but bought three over the last couple of weeks sold with two keys and only turned up with one.
  13. Yes anyone can log in and use at the same time using your account name and password but if we ever go back to live physical auctions and you each want your own card you need to be all named in the same policy.
  14. Can log onto the same account I believe but they have to be named on your trade insurance cert when you send proof of trading. Thats we was told a couple of years back anyway.
  15. 2 hours? Is it really that bad down there? Havn’t had to que at all up here, just walked straight in and got my pack/car sometimes earlier than my arranged collection time. I have noticed every site seams to have different arrangements for collections though.
  16. They still are dodgy. A friend of mine went to view a car there and found out it had been clocked under their ownership, ran a few more reg’s off their website through dvla when he got home and found a fair few of their other cars had also been clocked.
  17. Thought they’d already pulled out of the uk a while back? Or was that just certain models.
  18. Yes it was a psa/bmw joint venture I believe. Prince engine, god awful thing to be honest and riddled with problems. Personally I’d of got shot before you started spending money on it. Being the turbo model it’ll be the same engine as the Mini Cooper S/Peugeot 207 Gti
  19. 4 year old topic .....Really? Wonder if he still has it.
  20. This will be the problem. Yes people will still want cars but with people cutting costs and losing jobs it will be the banger selling Facebook doorsteppers that will thrive.
  21. Prices seamed to steady out a bit towards the end of last week. I managed to nick 3 well under cap on Friday.
  22. I know I’m in the minority here but I really don’t see what all the fuss is about. If you have underlying health conditions fair enough but if your fit and healthy you really have been sucked into the scaremongering media hype. Official nhs statistics, that anyone can view online show that 27,000 people have died in hospital with COVID in their system but not as the sole cause of death. Less than 1300 people have died of COVID without any known underlying health conditions. In 2018 (latest the figures go up to) just shy of 30000 people died in the uk of influenza/pneumonia (seasonal flu) Do you panic every winter that you may catch seasonal flu from a customer?
  23. They probably haven’t had a choice but to offer online bidding to everyone at the min. With them being closed to physical auction they’ll be losing all custom from the part time dealers selling a couple month and only have a blue/silver card.
