  1. Definitely 48 hours after collection or delivery. We get stuff regularly online, delivered or collected a week later and no issues when ringing up for claims within the 48 hour period.
  2. Thanks, ended up going with this guy after reading his feedback and giving him a call, he received the unit on Monday and I got it back by Tuesday! Fitted and all working, customer very happy too. Brilliant
  3. Started misfiring then refused to start. Throwing various fault codes, ECU looks soaked I'm afraid. I've had a few done years ago by ECU Testing so I know they can do it but don't understand the hike in price. BBA reman seem to get a lot of poor reviews...
  4. Hi guys, just recovered a corsa back that we sold and all signs point to the ECU. Common issue I know, but it's been a few years since we had one done at ECU Testing who were good but they have gone from £350 to £650! Anyone had this done elsewhere? I hear of BBA reman but don't know what they are like. Any recommendations?
  5. I don't buy many from that section but whenever I have, it's always had issues even with a clean report. I guess that's why they end up at WBAC
  6. No problems here with the selling, just the buying we're struggling with. Advertise 20 down to 12, selling more than what we can buy at the moment! Luckily we can wait it out for a few more weeks until prices (hopefully) settle.
  7. December was very kind to us, don't know how we've managed to replace stock in January but done 30 units this month (average is 20) so been a very busy month and don't think February is going to slow down, already done 1 today with lots of emails coming through. I wish it was December again, cars are making silly money at the moment.
  8. We are seriously low of stock after a busy December and January, we thought we had enough to cover but didn't predict to do as many sales as we did in December. Won't be forced to buy stock for retail money then spend the next few months trying to get rid at cost price, rather wait it out. BCA is crazy at the moment but that's nothing new.
  9. Brighouse, did they ever do police cars at BCA Leeds (formerly known as SMA or Premier)
  10. Ah yes, the journey from blue to gold. We used police cars for that one!
  11. I've always struggled with Skodas, last one I had for 6 months before I cut my losses back in September and sold it to a trader in Ireland, he's still got it.
  12. The problem with Insignias is that there's so many of them coming through every day ex fleet. I find the ones with Nav and Parking sensors sell quicker.
  13. I may get shot for this but I prefer selling french stuff over german. Cheaper to buy, easy fixes and nicer customers I find.
  14. Yes they will release it to someone collecting, they usually ring the account holder to confirm.
  15. Really busy here. 6 days in, 7 sold. I really don't have any stock left now, only managed to buy one this week! To be fair, we didn't expect to have such a good December, so the bulk of our stock was sold then.
  16. Try to stay consistent with the photos, ie in one location, the interior shots of your premium cars don't show off the car at all.
  17. I used to get annoyed after a month but not anymore, 6 months is the most for me then I'll start thinking about new photos/price drop.
  18. I took a break between 25th-30th. Week before Christmas did 4, sold 4 on the 31st and 1 so far this year (on New Years Day) I really need more stock.
  19. Happy New Year guys, hope you have a successful 2018. Just out of interest, is anyone open today? I've currently got two customers turned up here. I only came because I had photos to take! I thought I'd be gone in a hour.
  20. Haha yes I thought about a referral fee when I saw they've sold it to Mat @ SuperMini I guess it was meant to be, I read this post, went on Facebook and it popped up on my newsfeed! It does look stunning in the photos. Enjoy it!
  21. Just the one so far (yesterday) but had wonderful profit across it. Another one has been ringing since Wednesday, the car we had ticked all the boxes and was priced very reasonably. She was already here when we opened, came over from a hour away, she couldn't fault the car. Bodywork is immaculate and the car sells itself. She looked around it for 30 minutes checking every little thing. 'It's a great car but I think I'm going to leave it' Can I ask why? 'It's overpriced by £500, but thanks for your time' That was that, off she went. I was so shocked I went inside and put the price up by £200.
  22. It can feel quite glum especially when you're used to selling loads. I treat December as a dead month, if I'm busy great if not, no problem. Use the time to rest, grab a few bargains and wait for the January rush. It will happen. Chin up.
  23. Absolutely ridiculous. They get worse by the day. I'll give you £1118 for it.
