  1. Good news! The Insignia sold last night! I was very lucky I had a buyer looking for exactly that model and age. Got a good price too! He said he spoke to a few dealers that had one for sale but they weren't flexible in the slightest for him to come and view / buy! Luckily, I am very flexible and usually open very late so he came to me! Now - I think it's best to stick with the lower end of the market, never have I ever had a car for nearly two months on sale where I have actually needed to renew Auto Trader ads! Thank you all for all of your help, if anything, its certainly taught me how to properly photograph and describe a car, even for the cheapies I deal in, they'll look top dollar from now on! Thank you for this! Your figure was almost exactly correct, it went for £3250! I think the issue is I'm currently doing too much and have little time - I think when the finances are right I'm going to need to hire some staff!
  2. Cool, I shall grab my wife's SLR and try again in front of the door with the door down - I'll need to clean the car and the door lol, some nice bird has decided to poop all over them! Again, thank you for the advice, I'll get the ad updated and fingers crossed it'll sell!
  3. I'd say looking to buy at about £1000-£1500 look to sell £2000 to £2500 maybe? Just wanted to say thank you to everyone, glad you all agree with each other - I'm usually in the under £1500 market and buyers mainly just want to see the car and make sure it's not dodgy or knackered, however, decided to try my hand at the above £2000 market! I had a clean Hyundai I30 Premium Diesel for £2950 and that sold straight away so thought something may be wrong with pricing! There are some nice local beaches, would a drive to the beach and use that as a backdrop be better? In all honesty, I probably won't stay with £2000 + cars, the cheaper cars shift much easier! and seeing as I don't have a great deal of space to store many cars, I need high turnover rather than sitting on the same stock for weeks / months on end.
  4. Could you let me know, if you had this in stock, how much you'd sell it for? I've had this for quite a while with very little nibbling - I've never had a good track record with Vauxhalls but thought that a clean Insignia may do ok. I'm in the north east and the car is clean, long MOT, advisories carried out and just serviced too by us. I've currently got it up at just under book price as per CAP HPI and this is the cheapest (just about) within 50 miles of me with this age, model and mileage. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201712021769621
  5. I've actually owned these cars for many years and mainly specialise in them. What have you got?
  6. All Hyundai Coupes wanted! runners and non runners wanted! Call me on 01670 704 394 Solo Car Services Ltd
  7. Funny you should say this! Picked up a 2008 TDCi Fiesta at BCA a few months ago, no warning lights, lovely little car! Drove through the exit gates, went into limp home mode, turns out 2 injectors failed ... I doubt they failed as I bought it! Only way I could get it out of limp home mode was to reset the EML! Again, bought it from a large dealer section with a rather fiery name! Currently sitting in my unit's office waiting for a customer that should have been here at 1! I'm leaving soon for a family meal, just desperate to sell a "lovely" Zafira that I got in as a PX! Hate the things I do!
