Honestly its childs play, all you need is some very basic kit, like a small 3" air sander a die grinder and a small smart repair gun and your away, You can get all the kit you need for under a £100 unless your a brand snob like me in which case might be a bit more. Primer and lacquer and activator you can buy in 2.5ltr and will last forever, then just ask your local paint shop for a tenth of what ever color you need which we pay £6 for. Then its the same for every wheel rub down small fill if required primer top coat and then clear. I would be the first to admit we are by no means pro but to date no one has ever said hang on they dont look like they have been done by a pro they pass every time and costs us less than £20 a set in materials and about 3 hours work. will not be for everyone but for us works well

never needed to do that but i suggest you ring explain and hopefully they will give you the department and postcode you need to address your letter to i would also send it registered post,. sit back for about 6 weeks then get a letter telling you they have corrected the details and you are now the proud owner of a six wheeled atkinson on free historic road tax......

I love Rangies, I own a supercharged 2011 RR with every optional extra on and its just a dream to drive but selling 12-15 year old Rangies would give me the horrors. I’d want £3k in it and would be paying through the nose for a third party 6 month warranty. They’re an enigma, like Alfas, can and do go wrong a lot but people love em.

Guess it depends where you are. We're near Brighton so it's £45 a wheel, fiver a pint and I won't even begin to talk about my council tax bill.

They don't even charge me anymore for tricky wheels like Mazda with odd spoke patterns that are extremely corroded. any more*

You are right about these vans holding the value. Cheap decent vans dont exist, I do give strong money. Experience had told me to avoid those bargains that do turn up more and again. If you want to get top money then you have have to go the extra mile. But people will pay it, last three campers I have done where pre sold and im in talks with a guy who is interested in my next one. There is plenty of profit left in them.

£100 a wheel thats just bonkers ok if it was a £20k motor, i would have been out with my trusty devil bliss off to the paint shop for a tenth of paint and hey presto new looking wheels within three hours for less than £20 job done.

Stick on a pair of spots (or even four!) My other half usually has a cooper s to play about with and we always stick some spot lights on, I think the front looks so plain without. Never had a problem shifting them on to one of the traders when she’s got bored and wants a different one. Got an automatic cooper s convertible chilli pack with cruise etc at the mo, think it will be staying with us until the end of summer! Ditto the previous comments re don’t have warning lights on dash and I get the reason behind your location but try a different one.

Amazing! A real skill in doing what you're doing, one I'm sure alot of us wish we had. Well done.

I think Liverpool or Leeds are the closest I have customer's, both too far away. If I come up with anything better I will let you know.

Great. No more letters to old owners asking for S/H then!
