  1. Yes, this is something I've noticed too. I was going through my stuff last night and making some 'adjustments'?
  2. You're in a great position if you are unaffected by the market at the moment. It's always interesting to hear about others experiences and there are certainly a lot of opinions around at the moment regarding the state of the market. And the market is in an interesting 'state' at the moment regardless of where you source your stock.
  3. But presumably if the shortage of stock means that the wholesale prices are rising then so are the retail?
  4. HI Ben, I'll try and have a dig around for it later, thanks
  5. Shame. Bearing in mind the recent 'madness' with used car prices over the last few months and the subsequent effect on retail prices, I'd have been very interested to read this, but sadly the link doesnt work for me. I just end up on your website landing page?
  6. Because most punters dont want to feel under pressure and want to do these things at their own speed, rather like a visit to the supermarket. Just imagine if you had to book a visit to Asda? Then there's the 'drive by' or sending a mate to look. Only when it passes all these preliminaries are they happy to 'engage' in the ritual dance of negotiations
  7. Spot on! I've been doing some local research and prices of 'cheapies' are on the up here. The prices of vehicles over 10yrs old are now actually hitting cap retail?
  8. To be honest, if I lose a car to another trader (that I know) I always follow its progress! I'm wondering if all this price madness at the block at the moment is going to be incorporated into the 'guides'?
  9. More auction madness today. Interesting some insane and well financed internet bidding. I sometimes wonder if those internet bidders are 'real'?
  10. I'm with you there. In fact, I've spent much of this year making some pension 'adjustments'
  11. Only they usually have the ability to combine family/financial resources in such a way as to make these things work well.
  12. Good luck to them, just out of interest, this wouldn't be an 'Asian' setup would it?
  13. He must get around, there's a few from Enfield branch on there. I always thought it inappropriate to take photos of stock while the cars are still on the auction site with the screen 'top', but there you go
  14. "I will defo buy it I'm no messer hold it for me be over at weekend"
  15. I've mentioned this before. There always seems to be someone touting for free info. I can't think of any professional that I wouldn't expect to have to pay a minimum 1hr consultancy fee?
  16. .... put the phone holder back? People like old cars to keep their 'originality'
  17. Just curiousity. Yes, this is my understanding. "the longer your hook's in the water, the more chance of a bite". But, I'd rather a quick no if you see what I mean.
  18. I 'thought' it was 24hrs to allow for evening sales. But is there a 'cut off' time for provisionals to stay live, as such.
  19. As far as the big two are concerned, what is the max time they have to inform you of a provisional bid decision, 24hrs?

  21. Screw the customer, what happened at the Chinese?
