CRA - Conclusive Action Required Legally

Same My understanding is it's the same , when you sell a car, basically , hold your breath for 6 months . Difference with cra15 is right to reject within 30 days re major fault . We use an independent RAC approved garage to PDI and have our own warranty fund , sure it's a bummer when you pay out a claim but that's why you tuck some money aside on each sale . -

At £90 pm for 12 cars they could be caked in cow crap up to the axles and I'd still think I'd had a result

Thanks , forgot about Autorolla , pricey as I remember but handy for using their CAP pricing for free ...until they rumble you ! Trying to find a good alternative to ATM as that entails a whole Autotrader package bolted on .

Hi all , just out of my premises after 10yrs as up for development and likely to be a month or two before I find something permanent again , considering maybe trading a few bits whilst 'homeless' . Sold a few bits on ATM in the past but not much luck with CTT...any thoughts ?

Having the worst couple of months in years after a nice consistent run since before Christmas , enquiries just off a cliff edge...buyers market for sure at present . -
Yep , they generally stink , gave up with those years ago , always bashed about and uncared for .

An absolute s**t service from BCA Assured

To be fair I bought a 63 plate c220 out of Blackbushe, I swear I didn't move it an inch in the car park and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree , traction,ABS, the works . Popped the key back to the ladies in the office , quick chat on the phone to the manager , full refund 3 days later . Best bit is I'd accidently missed that the Merc was a manual...talk about 'get out of jail free card! -
Do that , and stop buying DSG ...I've learnt my lesson three times over. Shame really ,because they're great before they break.

Then you have the ones hanging off the doors and squinting at the side of the car to see if it's had bodywork done. Hang on... that's us at the auction !

I've just paid £1950 inc tip from BCA for a 58 plate se with heated lthr 85k & 9 honda stamps so i guess you're on the money .used to do really well with these a few years ago then ,as cars do , they fell out of favour over night . Bought this as it seemed good value and they rarely give trouble...good luck !
-
Jeez....it's just getting worse , we'll be scrapping anything under £2000 or over 100,000m in a bit...not worth the bother !
-
Think I'll just leave it there , he seems to have accepted it . Thing is I make a specific point of telling customers that we don't check the A/C on older cars because if it's not a gas issue the repairs are just so disproportionate to the cars value , same with parking sensors/bluetooth/satnav . The aim is get them safe and reliable , yet they get on their high horse about 'fit for purpose' FFS !

Loving this : C Max px we sold for £2k done 130000m but we serviced it , 2 tyres and a fresh MOT..cheap solid runabout you'd think ... Customer :Hi. I purchased a cmax off you 4 months ago - HK07 WLC. I've been really pleased with it up until today when I turned on the air con only to find it's not blowing cold at all. Obviously this is the real first hot day we've had so I've not had a need to use the air con up until now. When I purchased the car i was obviously under the impression it was functional. Can you come back to me? I did take a warranty out but don't have it with me at the moment. Look forward to your response Us :

Had a brilliant March , this month is death...

Mercedes are a real pain in the arse about this , but if you scan in a purchase invoice as well as the V5 and email it to customer services they do normally come back with the history ...or as mentioned keep trying 'till you get a friendly dealer . best of luck
