For a 5 star policy, £1000 claim limit I'm paying £150 plus VAT for a 12 month. I think 6 months is £120 so not really worth bothering with IMO. The rep I use and have used for a long time within the industry is a chap called Adrian who like you is based in leafy cheshire I've know him for a long time and he is spot on. I have done away with my book, complete waste of money. I beg to differ. If maintained they are very good engines IMO. Not many disasters here, well part from yesterday I came in to find my toilet floor covered in water as it had been leaking. No big deal, apart from the fact it had been leaking into my safe which is buried next to it in the ground that houses all the car keys and some paperwork. Everything was soaked although I suppose I should be grateful as I had done some banking the day before.

The fact is DA are never going to listen to peasants like us, they might however start listening to their vendors. There are many on there who do the job properly and are missing out buyers on who have just had enough with the platform because of their rogue colleagues. I don't think any buyer is expecting an AA report, but a little bit of honesty wouldn't go amiss. I also think those rogue dealers should be named and shamed, on the other hand I think those that do the job properly should also be highlighted.
