  1. Where is Lucas........................whats he been up to ???
  2. agreed, I really am not liking this at the moment, its all in the wrong places for what i am used to
  3. this is trying to stay professional when you really want to be angry with them Its also a 1 in 20 thing i think, 19 people will give you a text masterclass and disappear never to be heard of again and then 1 of the 20 will make the purchase and will surprise you just a mater of how much patience you chose to offer them
  4. i use 2500 wet and dry for scratches and flatting, Then its either straight to G10 with machine polisher or G3 and then G10 last year i discovered G10 and what a compound that is, Miracles happen with that
  5. sold a few cars to southern Ireland last year and to my surprise 1 to Cyprus, Was cheaper for him to fly to the UK seal deal fly back and then pay for container shipment than it was to buy locally in home country, I was really surprised, He said most Cyprus cars are UK or Japan
  6. yeah sure come on down................................he comes down.....................sorry just sold, now be on yer way
  7. there is NO video option on the PAYG package.......................... you can put a link in the box but nothing gets published, You need to be contracted for video
  8. Facebook seems to be on the up, keeps coming up on here with people rating it as a platform that they are seeing benefit from Dinosaurs like me should be more open minded to new ideas
  9. I use a Stanley knife blade almost flat to the screen, then kitchen scouring pad lightly over anything remaining
  10. I never knew that i stand corrected on my previous comment, "IF" it is like that then totally fair
  11. They do have a very efficient scanning system that locates the vehicle from a scan on the car windscreen, That is of course unless there is a bit of ice around and then no one scans anything and cars move and then its not updated, These yard staff are brutal in there breaks there breaks times and are really so unhelpful, its like they go out there way to not want to help even thought they all have jackets saying How can i help or something similar I thought i had finished my rant ..........................apparently not
  12. Proxy bid just give the auctioneer a legal way of running up the price, He knows he has your bid in the bag so he dont need the wall on that one, Just bid proxy what you would bit if it was live then you can be a winner and be a winner you have not overpaid
  13. Buy 80% my cars from BCA all over UK, Brought a good few from Enfield, Some time in December they change things, They closed the key office and changed the system for getting your car off site AND THEY THINK THIS IS BETTER MORE EFFICIENT, I was back there yesterday and some how its still in place and senior management are plodding along with this dinosaur of a system unwilling to accept that its a backwards step some how trying to convince everyone its working, 1 hour wait minimum before your greeted by a man in a yellow jacket cant string 2 words of English, 20 min searching for your car another 20 min digging it out from where it is. every other site is bar coded where your car is, key office to get keys and then its just asking staff to help remove it, This Enfield site is just wrong its not more efficient its NOT WORKING, Please listen its wrong you can do better than this, It may have sounded good when you were locked away in your Office with 15 people thinking it was better but i guess none of the guys making those decisions have ever moved cars around a site, It needs to be changed, I have not got the luxury of 2 hours wasting my time for something that suits you because it certainly does not suit me Rant over...............Feel better now
  14. if you read the terms and conditions for the Surecheck ( no one does) you really have not got a chance in hell, Its worded to protect them at all times, Its going to be legal and binding to, I doubt anything legal from you would change things,
  15. I liked the video very professional, Obviously we are in same boat here the adds in full cloud are not as desirable as the BMW in the sun, I guess you will be doing something once we get a forecast for sun. Just me................ i take a pic of the 2 keys sitting on the handbook, And while i am keen to have sun pictures for exterior i find cloud cover best for the interior, Its just so you dont have shadow and sun in the interior pics, I doubt the point i have made will or would have made put anyone off its just me and what i do
  16. this is the business to be in.............. its just having this specialist expertise in electronics and charge this fee, Guessing no material and no costs incurred just knowing about software and breaking into its code
  17. i had one 59 plate white with red interior, Just a POP with 120k and 9 services, Lasted 30 days, Looked good in white and the red
  18. I had a Mazda 6 a 2.2 TDi some time ago, Some national sales manager for a drinks company, That had 223k on it one owner 18 services with the first 100k all done at Mazda, I have driven loads of high mileage German stuff and of course they take the miles well, I drove this and it was truly unbelievable it really was tight had excellent suspension and body control, all the interior and switch gear gave no sighs of the mega miles, Only small giveaway was the drivers seat that felt a little flat, He did quite rightly say............... where is the wear in an engine doing 2000 rpm in 6th gear for 2-3 hours 2 times a day as he was visiting customers That car really was an eye opener, It drove perfect, Brought it at a £1000 and sold it 3 days later £1500 to taxi man,
  19. way i look at it ...................condition is very subjective...................... low miles the sort of miles that make you different to everyone else now thats a material fact, its a huge bargaining point, For an easy life i tend to go for less than 100k on Diesels lower the better and 80k for petrol's again lower the better we all know however that a 150k diesel thats been serviced 10 times has a whole lot of life left in it, Buying public are still thinking its a high mileage car
  20. oooohhhhh well, Poor fella thats not nice, he expected all them old used cars to be fully prepped prior to them going to auction did he He he
  21. i have obviously missed something of a sensitive nature as its been edited to within an inch of its life..................... i dont have a clue he he
  22. cars sales is the best way to make a small fortune.............................. of course we all started with a large fortune but that`s beside the point For my two peneth................. its a lot harder than you think, From the outside i would agree it looks "easy money", Pitfalls where you could never imagine, Every purchase and then every sale is a potential risk and loss, it will consume time like you can not imagine and you will wonder how we established lot end up carrying it on given all the hoops we have to jump through
  23. this is what i call "positive cash flow" whoop whoop same hear also early December heard nothing at all
  24. Yes key fact, The garage surely had indemnity against Muppet tech`s ?? this is the root cause of there problem By coming to you and blaming you for there issue is like when the titanic hit the Iceberg and saying it was the icebergs fault
  25. It is a learning curve Lucas, Everything you are experiencing is getting you nearer to knowing the bare basics and the more advanced, We have all been there but for my self it was pre interweb and before online forums. I learned quickly through a series of slaps over the head from my sales manager
