yes and yes Number plates cost me £7 a pair and apart from the advertising I think a new set of plates lift the look of a car. Unlike window stickers the customer is unlikely to remove them.

Surely an invoice is the only proof they need. The V5 only shows registered keepers, so even if it was in your name it doesn't prove you own a vehicle.
