That's the snowflake generation for you, they need to be told what to like or not like by someone else.

Easy. Don’t read your reviews then you won’t get upset.

More importantly how do you stop or get rid of fake reviews, the last two one star reviews I've had on Google have in my opinion been fake. "Was looking at a BMW on carnival day and got screamed at that I couldn't afford it by some woman on the premises. I bought one elsewhere. Lower mileage better price." Firstly there hasn't ever been a female working here, and secondly I didn't speak to this woman that left the review as I remember the Carnival day and quite clearly she never bought a car from me. She also left a one star review for a local Sainbury's and one for a local pub because they weren't open at 11am on the dot!! I got my own back on her though as she'd stupidly left a five star review for the company she works at, so I returned the favour! The other one star I got just says this: "Offer silly prices." I hadn't sold this guy a car either, and he had left a five star review of another dealership that he'd bought a Nissan Juke from just two months previously. It's a real kick in the teeth when you work 7 days a week and sell hundreds of cars a year to mostly satisfied customers, and then anyone can just sully your business and reputation.

AAM90, just so you know that I'm not some sly creep like some I could name from this forum, I am telling you what I have just done. Reported this thread to the admin, suggesting it's removed and that you are removed from the private forum. There is no need, whatsoever, to tell people from the public forum, what happens in the private forum, or else, what is the point in having the private forum? You're just feeding the curiosity of a mob, people who just want the "gossip" and if they could be bothered, could get access to the private forum and find out for themselves. If you think I'm being out of order by saying this, you know my name, my website and my number. Call me and we can discuss it further or pop down and I'll make you a coffee.

Ah well done. Glad to know that it's bad enough being splashed about in the PRIVATE section of the forum, we now have people basically telling the public forum, what is happening in the private forum.

Buy your own transporter and do it yourself

Thanks Guys, The Police have granted us permission to collect the car from Birmingham tomorrow. Very relieved and will never take another payment by phone.. Lesson Learnt. The person who bought the car paid for it by cash £3000 under what we were selling it for.. He met the guy outside the station, Police had no sympathy for him as he didn't even HPI it. If anyone gets a call from a Dean Talbot or Peter Orr, both have fake driving licences in these names.

I’ll guess. Arthur pretended EPV was his friend and acted like a mentor to him but secretly hated the fact EPV was essentially copying his “unique” business model. Up comes and opportunity to fuck him and Snakey Simon appears. So tempted to submit my trade insurance to read the full story but it’s things like this that make me not want to and to stay anonymous. The car trade is full of snakes

I personally don't mind the phone call. Similar to the phone call from BCA after you buy something, I don't mind that either. Not gonna lie though, if they didn't phone I wouldn't mind that either haha. Just not overly fussed. But I do like a chat so I suppose I might miss the phone calls eventually and start ringing them haha.

No rubbish now. Smell has already returned, yet with now a exotic cat smell tinge. Turned back to the Atom Machine from Euro Car Parts. Will update with how it gets on.

Can somebody summise what may (or may not) have happened between EPV and Arthur Dealy for those of us who haven't got time (or just can't be arsed) to go through previous posts in private lounge?

Use the reg to get the vin yourself
  17. 1 point
Yeah, i need the vin before i buy the car Manheim give you the vin in the vehicle description. I suppose BCA will make you pay for it if you ask?

And that's the scariest thought of all. Hence no one dares to do anything. Book flights, holidays, change car unless they have to.
