Good luck. There is absolutely no chance of me bidding online for cars up to £3K based on their absolutely pisspoor non-descriptions. I’d be bankrupt within weeks of buying blind from them shysters.

Our painters usually seem so pissed and high on fumes i'd doubt they even know what's going on.

What do you mean MORE problems? He didn’t seem to have a problem shagging that young chap & he also never had a problem with his reputation by shagging that same young chap behind his Mrs’s back. He should be advertising Teflon.

I bet the auctioneer still cancels my bid and says, "in the hall first."

I think it's pretty obvious where we are heading. Any dealer who isn't prepared to be shut down for 1-2 months has their head in the sand a little bit I think. Also just noticed Manheim going online only from Monday.

Looked round online and there's no one in the halls at all today , just the odd body walking about .

Sounds like enforced lockdown. In Poland they have patrols on the street with curfews big £ fines if caught out

What's professional about it? It's making it harder for the public to purchase your product. Surely the opposite of professional. If someone is still looking at buying a car today then they don't give a monkeys about the virus and the last person they'll want to buy from is someone's who might be a bit paranoid about it... no offence intended, just my thoughts. Therefore, business as usual. Take your precautions - no handshakes, antibac spray , wiping desks, but don't go changing the formula. Maybe this is controversial?

Solo/ doorstep operators will be OK and probably don’t need to trade. For the guys with the premises and the staff that have to sell X number of cars a week to stand still,it is another story.I have been watching CNBC all day and listening to experienced financial experts and medics and I hope they are wrong. Its not just the virus,it’s the Russian/Saudi row and the knock on effect as huge oil companies may be forced into bankruptcy putting thousands out of work.
