    Thanks Casper, really appreciate the response, firstly, it sounds like you guys seem to be working to my thoughts of aiming generally for a 4 week turnover time, I understand we are all going to have those exceptions that just wont budge. Also, thanks for the other point, the reason for the price increase was that I aim to deal with the BMW 'M' cars (bar the e60/e63, I love those V10s but they will bring nothing except pain), I may still dabble with the cheaper 330's, it will all depend on my premises, if I can work my way to a 15-20 car premises then I will definitely be looking at covering the 2.5k-20k range.

    Agree with mark but not always possible we've had a couple sit over a year due to various things mechanical problems awaiting repairs etc . Marc p can I also suggest my advice not to put all your eggs in one basket and look to see cars in to the 2.5-5k bracket the 5-10k bracket and also 10-20k bracket as this will broaden your customer search and availability. So effectively stocking cars from 2.5k up to 20k

    I may be missing something but what is their USP? Why do they believe they can get to that figure? We have had online only companies before that have tried and failed.

    How long do you expect to sit on a car? until the flooding goes down I have a car here coming up for a birthday so you cannot say, every car is different Y ou have to remember theres always a bum for a seat its just finding the bum and prising the money off him/her/it

    I had a kazoo when I was a kid or a bazooka as I knew it My parents took it off me in the end because all it did was make lots of noise but not actually achieve anything

    I wonder how many of the 217,000 cars will be the part exchanges sold for a loss/slight profit at the auctions? This is how the Pinocchio dealers ramp up their numbers it seems? Everytime i go to BCA Newcastle i see all four of their covered transporters (£90k a piece!) sat there gathering dust.

    1) Step away from the car when taking photos, the proportions looks better from a little distance with some added zoom. Image order needs to keep buyers engaged so you can mixed them up and you can add some finance logos, HPI logos etc for good measure. 2) Remove close up interior photos where the displays look dirty. 3) Clean the front tyres just before taking the pictures 4) Remove some BLOCK CAPITALS from your advert text and structure it a bit better. First a bit about yourself, the business, then the car basics, then the spec and options, then history, MOT etc and finally a long section about what you offer and why they should buy from you and not someone else. In the case of this car mention a careful mature owner as it is a good plus point. Add more wording and options in the advert text as it will give you a better price indicator. 5) Zuto. Your adverts show a finance APR of 19.6% compared to 7-8% of your competition so consider paying AT the £30 or so a month for your own finance example to be displayed there. 6) NEW CAMBELT+FULL SUZUKI HISTRY I get what you mean about the space but you can reword better to FULL SUZUKI SH or even SUZUKI FSH or FSH by SUZUKI to fit everything in. 7) Reply to your reviews. Thank you for your purchase, thank you for part exchanging, thank you for letting us take care of your finance, Thank you for recommending us etc 8) Round prices. Yes they increase views but sometimes put you way down in search results so maybe experiment with exact prices a bit to see what works better: £6991 looks like it's been more carefully thought and calculated than £7000 for example. 9) Work to improve your AT HIGH price indicators without having to lower your asking price. You have a black MINI Coupe £6500 that looks to me like it has Chili pack. If you were to select Cooper (Chili) as the derivative your HIGH Price will be Good or Great with all options added. 10) I'll stop here but maybe elaborate a bit on your 3 months warranty, is it parts and labour, is it free, can it be extended for longer at a price etc...     I think it would be quite a mission to achieve that outcome. More than I can be bothered with. We've decided to refund the customer and put its head back on the block.     I tend to stay well away from 500's, stupid new deals from franchised dealers always meant the odd one I stocked hung around too long for my liking. I dont tend to aim for any particular profile of stock just try to stay away from what the local franchise dealers are stocking, find that anything too new (under 3 years for me) and punters seem to want to buy them from a main dealer - just my experience, I know it works for many others but not me. Small and mid range stuff, Golfs, A3, Yaris, Focus, Fiesta, Corsa, Quashqai, midsize SUV's etc nothing too flash or heavy around £5k-£15k max, every dealer around me wants to stock big German diesels so I leave it to them, would prefer to be busy getting £600-£800 per bonnet and selling every 20 days than sitting on something for 50 days and make a grand. I do have the luxury o four service/mot and bodyshop and try and tie all local sales into service plans so get more revenue out of every sale hence maybe lower margin on the actual bonnet
