Paint... generally £100 a panel and that's blended properly. sometimes its £150 with damage. However, a side is £300 blended, but then sometimes a bonnet is £150, then £200, but it depends on the car and how busy..... wheels are £180...

Car window stickers, used to put the web address on number plates but stopped in January to try something new my grandson suggested, for the same cost of the number plates Ive bought 200 universal iPhone/Galaxy phone chargers that slot into most cars USB ports (when they have them) with my logo on, they're about £4 each and get loads of comments from car buyers, they love em.

Sell it with 1 month 1000 miles limited warranty. Essentially meaning that it will be covered on it's way to Dover if anything major gives way which seems extremely unlikely. This way buyer gets a small amount of peace of mind and you get a lot of peace of mind once that 1000 rolls on the odometer.

Be same in my mind too Return to base at customer expense for warranty claims , Write it on invoice , explain it to them , get them to sign a PDI , and sign to the listed warranty parts covered . Sign against " Customer returns at own expense " The other thing is , if its popular , sell it to someone else cos if their main question is warranty their main thing will be to claim . Our warranty Stops at DOVER , that's what i tell them .

This, otherwise you are leaving yourself wide open and vulnerable.

Same as if you were using the car in the UK Sir. Warranty is on an RTB basis and excludes recovery.

Definitely an ego trip thing! If you drive past one are you like me and interrupt somebody in mid-sentence to just say - "one of mine there".

I don't bother. My buyers wouldn't care and it's more £££ off the bottom line. Maybe one day I will if I started doing something more specialised.

The best stuff I have found is a lemon oil from laundry suppliers. It is £30 a litre but you only need a couple of squirts into the rear footwells. I get loads of comments from customers saying how nice and natural the scent is.

Autoglym ones for me, not the cheapest but coupled with the Autoglym paper mats in the footwell, it creates a certain impression that buyers like.

I spent around £1,000 on the AutoSmart van the other week - he gave me one (yes one) free air freshener. Geez, thank you. Still got gazillions of WWise ones but refuse to use them because they probably don’t actually smell, just like their warranties don’t actually pay.

Manheim are pretty good delivery wise. Normally within 48 business hours. BCA seems to take forever. On balance, I prefer BCA as an auction house but Manheim are more customer focussed IMO.
