We use rear window stickers and number plates if the old ones are tatty But usually just the stickers. As we are registered as a numberplate supplier it does lead to the occasional phone call from someone wanting numberplates which we don’t do. Only for our own cars.

I assume it’s a Transit Mk6 based. Main thing is who fitted the seats in the back, new conversions have to be crash tested but there are still people just fitting anything and they can be lethal in a collision. i would also be checking it has working A/C as I have seen conversions without in the past and they are hard to love on.

6 years, that will be a lot or rear pads, these things seem to eat them if you use the auto deactivate.

You have been lucky, very lucky I have had a good few straightened, as I said most tyre places will have the machine as they are only a few grand to buy.

What surprises me more is when people DO NOT remove those awful Arnold Clark stickers. I had a choice of decal and went for individual letters with no backing. I think the classier they look, the more likely they will remain. Cost is £3 a car vs. £0.50 per car for one on a plain background.

Does anyone else get annoyed when they see a customer has removed your sticker from their car? How dare they! Bleddy cheek. Its as if they own it or something. Strangely, their service always seems slightly more expensive the next year.

Now that is easy to follow I saw your location and then read your posts in my head at 100mph with a Scottish accent - made me want a Scotch but it was too early. 100% yes. I love branding but I doubt very much whether someone seeing a window sticker will lead to a sale but you never know. A next owner might try to PX thinking they'll get a better deal but more likely the original owner will remember who to call when it breaks. I have my own branded number plates carrying the EU logo, with borders and a drop down tab at the bottom with 2 phone numbers and website. Never really thought a lot about it until my mate reckons when he's out trucking, he can pick out one of my cars from about 50 metres away. Apparently something about them is quite distinct, which cant be a bad thing. Whether they will be as distinct without the EU logo post Brexit I'm not so sure! Also rear window stickers, nothing fancy, but I always thought they are quite important. Gives the car behind something to read when stuck in traffic! To be fair, I think key fobs are a waste of time. They only advertise to those who already bought from you.

I spent around £1,000 on the AutoSmart van the other week - he gave me one (yes one) free air freshener. Geez, thank you. Still got gazillions of WWise ones but refuse to use them because they probably don’t actually smell, just like their warranties don’t actually pay.

I used to use the trees. But now mainly vanilla shine spray on the dash/trims just before the viewing.
