You are quoting right to price reduction or final right to reject. We we talking about the 30 day short term right to reject. Section 20 subsection 10 “ To the extent that the consumer paid money under the contract, the consumer is entitled to recieve back the same amount of money.” This is a good article. It may be of help to help educate customers with unreasonable expectations. https://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/rejecting-a-car/

Another best test is 1 hour drive home from auction, often think this is better than having it delivered for the reason of checking things out.

Another chancer asking for advice. How can I delay giving him money back for 3 weeks because I've spent it all? Get an overdraft, run your business professionally, if you cant afford to refund him, how will you have enough to fix it???? Stop being lazy, go and read the CRA 2015 yourself. If youve been selling for a year you should know what your responsibilities are by now.

Great news: Road tax increases on NEW diesels but NO increases on anything pre-2018. As a seller of newer used cars, mostly diesel, this is great news although expected.

Easy peasy: refund it. No arguments. I wouldn’t be retailing no history 135k VX petrols!
