We always do well with Laguna estates including the new shape - I love them as they are quite rare too.

Last one sold to deep South Wales.

We have just cleared 2 sitters last month

Renault Twingo RS Cup  8 months

Citroen C3 Auto 6 months

The common denominator of both these cars...RED

Longest in stock now is strangely a white Toyota Aygo 3 months. Thought it would fly out!

I sold a red A5 in a fortnight. Red makes cars stand out nicely. On some cars.

Depends on the car really.

I deal in smaller stuff and have really struggled lately with anything red.

Not buying any more red cars unless I have to...

I have just bought one privately. C1 complete pov spec with windy windows and no central locking.  2 owners (same family) and 20k on an 09 - in red.  It’ll sell on miles.  Have you seen what these fetch at the block lately with low miles?

No, i’m more likely to watch Eastenders to be honest. I think everything is fetching proper money at the block lately! Retail prices some of it today.

Traded an amazing R8 V10 that we have had on SOR for nearly a year, bit embarrassing when you have to re MOT a sale car.  Probably the first car we have even had an enquiry on via Autotrademail for a long time.

Question: why not continually drop the price until it sold? Yes, it will make a lost. Is this the way to get rid the aged stock(s)? Thanks.

Trouble with these kind of faults, from my experience.

It is hard to tell when it is fixed because you can drive and drive the car = no faults.  Then randomly (usually post sale) the fault reoccurs and you're back to square one, only worse because you then also have a screaming customer to manage as well.

Our longstanding Cooper S did this to us. Got all the known issues fixed and sold it (insignia guy). It then throws an engine management light within a week. Bit of diagnosis and it only does it when left idling for a few minutes and shows as misfire plug 1. Put new plugs, coil and leads on it with no change. Now booked into our local guy to go to next stage (injectors?). Goes like a train and guy loves it so a bit unsure what to do if we can’t solve it. He’s even bought his own reader to kill the light.

2007 Jaguar XK Cab with 26k miles and 8-Stamps (7 of which are Jag) - 165days

But now the roofs broken :'(

I was actually chuffed when it was traded in last year for CAP av. I'd take a solid kick in the chuckies just to see the back of it now.

Anyone like a nice smoker for the summer? (roof fixed obviously!)

Stevie

Thanks for the advice Dave....

Since my new payment process I've not had a no show / non payer in over 2 years, if it falls through, I'll eat my Halfords socket set on video for you :)

Well guys I’m afraid I don’t have to eat my socket set. The TT has gone ;)

Just sold a 2.0 petrol Mondeo I've had since October. 1200 quid bargain at auction so I thought. Subframe corrosion advisory on mot didn't help nor the tax band. First viewer bought it and got a good car for not a lot of money...
