stockedup! 63 Posted November 5, 2018 I was talking to an old trader friend who, a number of years ago, I did a bit of business with. He reminded me of the time he bought a car off me, only to find some photographs of a lady in a certain state of undress. He returned them to me and I was in a bit of a quandry what to do with them(They were not of his wife as I thought they would be). I did think about sending them in to readers wives but in the end destroyed them and thought if he ever comes back for them I will just plead not guilty! Anyone else had some interesting finds they care to share?
Contracts 68 Posted November 5, 2018 Roll of thick tape, furry handcuffs, and a couple of porn DVD’s in the side compartment of an ex rental BMW stands out but mainly scratched CD’s, dodgy glasses and the odd pen.

Blenheim Car Sales 111 Posted November 6, 2018 Must be a Post code thing then, In Wolverhampton its just Loads of glitter welded to any upholstery it contacts with, A few dodgy 80-90`s CD, Low value coins, parking slips, hundreds of cars and nothing unusual or embarrassing to previous owner
David Horgan 564 Posted November 6, 2018 Only thing we've found was £138 in pound coins under the spare wheel of a £100 scrapper all loose as well on the floor pan . Did know of one trader who found 5k in tenners though , Mostly its sweets stuck to carpets for us ,

Four rear load covers, none of them fit the Audi Avant they were in. A Nokia 6150. Brand new, unused in unopened box in the spare wheel well. A fake Cartier watch. But there was a day or two of excitement before I had it looked at :-) a £50 note in the sun visor of an old Saxo (how they missed it at BCA I'll never know) A used vehicle sales invoice for £14000 one year before I gave £5500 for it in part ex. D&M 66 Posted November 6, 2018 Once found £450 in an envelope slid behind the plastic trim in a MK6 Fiesta. Would never have found it if we didn't have to change the radio! Got it about 3 days before the bank stopped accepting the old £50 notes.
DCS01 27 Posted November 6, 2018 Once found a load of weed under the passenger glove box of an Astravan. I don’t partake but gave it to a mate who did, he was well chuffed. Worst one I have come across was in an astra, customer has unfortunately died and his family sold the car on to us. This was mid summer and the car began to smell after a few weeks. We all joked it was because it was the dead man’s car. A week later we found some rotting steak under the passenger seat. Old boy must have gone to the butchers before he died and it had gone under the seat. One of the worst smells I have experienced!
Mark101 536 Posted November 6, 2018 (edited) I always find expired car parking tickets, annoyingly deep between the windscreen and dashboard. I have just pulled out 2 off BCA magnetic damage rulers, they're now stuck to my office cupboard. Edited November 6, 2018 by Mark101
MrV 66 Posted November 6, 2018 We (b*a assured testers) found a blanked handgun once in the wheel well of a land cruiser at a certain auction site in Walsall! Armed response turned up it was very exciting

Frazbomb 3 Posted November 6, 2018 Found a Butt Plug & a Cock Ring in the boot of a 2007 MX5. Also had a little pink dildo under the drivers seat of an MX5 that we imported from Japan. But the worst for us was a turd curled up under the passenger seat of a Honda CRX we'd brought in from Japan, scuffy Jap bastard must of took the seat out shat on the carpet and then put the seat back in!!! The smell was horrid and it took a while to figure out where it was coming from!!
David Ayers 171 Posted November 6, 2018 I’ll never look at the driver of an MX5 the same way again!

CPM 0 Posted November 9, 2018 My best find was a gold ring encrusted with diamonds and blue sapphire, £400 to the local pawn shop, the car was returned to bca as the service history turned out to be fake. Viagra in a bmw convertible (what does that say about bmw drivers!) a selection of lock knifes in a golf. And the usual sweats and kids toys under the back seat
Grantlfc81 88 Posted November 10, 2018 I bought 2 BMW’s from BCA last month, one after the other, neither had service history listed. I found both service history packs for both cars in the boot of the second car I bought... what is the chance of that
BHM 994 Posted November 10, 2018 I’ve never found anything any more valuable than a couple of quids worth of loose change under the seats. I once found a folded-up nappy but I resisted the temptation to open it up as I suspect it didn’t contain gold!

Tony F 38 Posted November 10, 2018 We were hoovering a car that had previously belonged to a vicar. The drivers footwell carpet was loose, and when we lifted it up we found a packet of condoms hidden underneath!!! I say matron....obviously had been partaking in some clandestine titilation on his house calls

AAM90 22 Posted November 10, 2018 We once found a 2 foot long double ended rubber dildo curled around the spare wheel of a Peugeot 405 taken in px. Previous owner never came back with any warranty issues on the one he bought from us!. Most recent find was a self sealer containing what looked like coke... I'm saving up all the old style pound coins for xmas.
