  1. Just, to add. We also won a case a few month ago. Judge seemed like a sensible fella, and it would seem he was. This was our first court case (been trading 15 years) and if I'm honest I didn't find it too bad. I certainly won't be afraid or taking it all the way again.
  2. Hmmmmm, now that I think about it we haven't had our renewal reminder come though? Has everyone else?
  3. Found a Butt Plug & a Cock Ring in the boot of a 2007 MX5. Also had a little pink dildo under the drivers seat of an MX5 that we imported from Japan. But the worst for us was a turd curled up under the passenger seat of a Honda CRX we'd brought in from Japan, scuffy Jap bastard must of took the seat out shat on the carpet and then put the seat back in!!! The smell was horrid and it took a while to figure out where it was coming from!!
  4. Haven't been able to buy anything from BCA Newcastle for a while, payed top dollar for a 525d (manual and no leather, yuk) today but only because I was buying for a friend (who was with me) If you get any big, miley barges or anything interesting (don't do run of the mill stuff) we'd be happy to have them off you, and I think we both may know a man who'll have MX5's off you.
  5. I'd probably put that though a classic auction, there are some crazy buyers at these places. We've sold a few through these lot https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/ and achieved very good prices on fairly mediocre condition modern classic stuff (190e Merc, couple of impreza's and a SL55)
  6. Exported 100's of cars over the past 15yrs, mostly to southern Ireland and more recently France (nich market stuff that I know where to place). It's the way I've always done it and never had an issue. I suppose as long as the car is in the trade, you could just hand the V5 as if passing to another trader (you'll have their details from the invoice incase it all goes Pete Tong) but I've always filled in the export part. Although to be fair I usually arrange the shipping and export this side, and rarely meet any foreign buyers. All docs get sent on in the post.
  7. Why is he putting the car into another persons name? Just give him the full V5 and fill in the export part and send to dvla. Job Jobed.
  8. Really?? We sustained it for 15 years!! Its a market I understand and its where I choose to ply my trade, and if its done right it very profitable and very sustainable.
  9. Very common for these to fail. The indicators are cheapish for the main dealers, about £20 and they always have them on the shelf. However the wiring / plugs in the mirror also break, but still an easy fix usually.
  10. Promising start here too, two away today and deposit for one going on Tuesday.

That wouldn't happen to be Ivan the Ex General Manager at BCA Newcastle. He does seem to be doing very well out of his new venture.
  12. Quite the opposite. We make decent money during race season. The team is currently down at Snetterton for the BTCC.
  13. We run a busy workshop (3 mechanics / 3 ramps), no MOT's though. We also have our own bodyshop, again busy with three employees. And to really complicate matters we also run a large motorsport team. The car sales runs along side these and has one sales man. This model works great for us, each business is ran separately but they all help each other for the greater good (profit!!) Also helps all aspects of the business are on the same ind estate.
  14. Been trying to get a Blue rep out to us in Newcastle, I've given up!
