David Ayers 171 Posted August 26, 2018 I use rear number plates in the windscreen to display "Diesel" and "Auto" and a silent salesman for everything else. I have to admit at my age these are mostly for my benefit!!!

The bunting did have one useful benefit, it scared the birds (flying type) away = less shit. Edited August 26, 2018 by Mark101
BHM 994 Posted August 26, 2018 There are a few pitches near me who open the boots all day, every day. I assumed they were drying them out after leaking lamp gaskets.

John Delorean, what a guy he was, worth reading his bio.Anyway, being a pre 1975 Trader.... there are some instances even now where window display stickers work well.If you have a roadside pitch with e.g. a 20 car frontage, there can be ‘artistic merit ‘ in the way you display and ‘ sticker up’ your stock.Stock must always be clean, colour coordinated and be neatly priced up using visible window stickers including big ‘sold’ stickers. ....Sorry guys ! have a word with the wife 299 Posted August 26, 2018 I went through a stage where i used a window pen, quite good, but, in this country it rains, its too easy to knock the wiper switch when your moving car, and you have to remove it for a test drive, then put it back on when they "got to see the wife"
