  3. problem with going in deep at little cost other than karma is it often comes back to bite you today customer booked in for an mot and service she says only done low miles so doesnt need service just mot so im stuck taking a car for an mot and that doesnt pay the bills and its not how i work,customers who purchase off me buy the complete service/mot package or i dont entertain im not a charity she slipped through the net but this car wont be getting an mot only next year at my gaff

  5. hi have a look round the car i will just find the keys for you and see you in a minute go in your office watch the body language on your cctv for time needed to let them be happy and relaxed and more importantly their body language says they are genuinly interested come out with the keys............... be jolly control the sale never leave keys in cars/with customers as they put them in their pockets by accident and foxtrot oscar if not careful

  7. make sure it isnt the crankshaft damper pulley these are over £120 and could easily have been the original problem what did it sound like when you turned engine off no idea how you test it mind (smilie wassname)
  8. ive seen some bad subframes in my time but never one that bad a few years ago my mot man said subframe failed and you cant weld it so i replaced six months later same garage welding up exactly the same make model year subframe on a similar car hmm
  9. no for it to be removed a representative of the insurance company has to confirm this car was not subject to this classification ie an insurance assesor ,unfortunately lv dont have any of these as its all done by photos and reports sent by bodyshops so car would need to go to lv approved bodyshop for inspection they send this information to the dvla and also hpi if agreed mistake made it can take 6 to 8 weeks to get the marker removed thats assuming everyone puts their gearsticks in drive i have nothing but praise for lv but you doing this work will only give you a car parked up and constantly checking the hpi register keep gob shut go for reimbursement on the terms i told you,getting extra is a bonus from auction house

  17. Ive got a titan here i think its superb as a car vacuumer but i wont use it for liquids,its a little light if you give it a sharp pull but its a very efficient crap gatherer Bags are cheaper off ebay mind once needed
  18. yes the oxy acetiline is on the rental of bottles for life so thanks anyway i also have been getting the 47kg propane for heating so ive just kept the contract running thing is they have been charging me £84 a bottle propane and ive just changed to £58 another supplier quite a difference

  21. just looked at the photos it has one of those crap add on overtaking mirrors you could buy at the time from motorworld? with the plastic glass you could see nothing in and oh look its gone droopy draws like they did happy times .not nice car mind but im just thinking of all the welding it will need sooner rather than later, fiats were the worst on the road at this period 3 year old cars with no sills,terrible......(obviously lada and moskwich were even worse but we aint talking about dem) smilie smilie..... it was the sound i loved thats the only reason i would have another plus proper petrol 4/5 star on the overun from the exhaust unburnt beautiful smell, you kids wont know what im on about smilie smilie.......
