  1. I think that ‘anything’ is worth a pull these days? Fines and minor motoring infringements are a lot easier to chase than bank robbers with shotguns like ‘the sweeney’; gone are those days?
  2. ........yeah! Tell ‘em Rory sent you!
  3. Plus of course the auctions are acting as agents/intermediaries and don’t actually own the stock. If they bought the stock off the vendors to auction it might be different? Newbies are a ‘win win’ for auctions, always have been. Even better now bidding and paying is electronic. Less chance for the cash only brigade to ‘do a runner’
  4. Ok, are CAG worth it? Because they obviously think they are?
  5. Well, newbies have to prove themselves. I remember when my local BCA Enfield would require £500 deposit per bidding number for blue/silver cards. That was per vehicle so if you were after 6 cars then 6x £500? Obviously if you didn’t buy then you’d get the money back at the end of the day but it took a few days to come back. They had two sales, Tuesday and Thursday, so effectively your deposit money would sit there all week? Until you bought twelve cars of course. Are City Auction Group any good?
  6. Probably a bit late to ask this, but why are they ‘tiers’ instead of ‘levels’?

That embalming cream sounds interesting? That could start a fascinating thread?

The clues in the title? Personally I’d have gone for the gold nuggets?
  9. I like how the “penis enlargement cream” has over 30 views?
  10. I never have any trouble with Polish guys. To be fair anyone (regardless of nationality) asks for “cash discounts”. But Polish guys that actually turn up , are knowledgable and no nonsense? In my opinion
  11. Apparently they’ve discovered a new strain of corona that spreads much faster so you could be right! But hey, we’ll still be trading because Zombies drive right, I think I even have proof!
  12. That’s ridiculous! Every knows the vaccine contains mind control nanobots! It’s common knowledge!
  13. Do they go anywhere near a church at all? Or is the the church of Amazon?
  14. That’s it! Just needs ........ and will pass easily! On the back of a recovery truck on a traveller site? But they still sell ‘em?
  15. Is it just me or does every car for sale on Facebook have to be offered sitting on the back of a recovery truck. Usually using a girls account? There is also an art in writing an advert that neither implies trade or private sale?
  16. It was only an idea? Maybe fill in the long gap between Easter and bonfire night to give retailers something to promote other than just holidays!
  17. Isn’t Christmas a little overblown. If it wasn’t for the barrage of advertising from retailers it would fade away as another religious festival. Let’s be honest, of all those angry people demanding their Christmas, how many even step inside a church? Not forgetting that 25th December is an arbitrary date? Christmas could be celebrated on any day? Why not move it to the summer?
  18. I had four kids! I saw what my wife had to put with putting them in and out of whatever car I let her drive lol. The 4x4 was a gift for her back! My wife drove a shogun. It was unstoppable. I was like a lot of guys and a little anti 4x4, but as they, happy wife happy life! Get her one!
  19. So, depends what you need it for. Proper 4x4 are great for towing, driving in bad conditions, ‘extreme dog walking’, going fishing, fetching white goods home from makro etc. But, it’s the height that wins, because women love putting kids in baby seats in the back without having to stoop! Try doing that a couple a day and you’ll understand?
  20. Funny story on Ford plastic coolant tanks. Years ago I took my daughter (16) with me to pick up a cmax I’d bought at the block. We hit traffic on the way back and I told my daughter I could smell coolant? She said said is it us? And I said said I think so. And she said is it the plastic tank! Lol
  21. To be fair, Ford coolant reservoirs are the greatest story ever told? But then like many manufacturers there ‘focus’ is in the first three years of ownership, and not really at all after 5/6yrs. Ten years make it EOL? Like electronics and white goods, they don’t want them to last forever, they want you to keep buying new ones.
  22. Highly unlikely. For the big auction houses there is absolutely no advantage or reward in returning to ‘the bad old days’ of physical auctions. Personally, and I’ve been saying this for ages, it was on the cards anyway to move to virtual auctions. Turn the sites over to just parking for stock. Reduced overheads on sites with less staff needed. All buyers have to register with accounts. No more cash buyers. No more ‘bid and run!’. Less opportunity to inspect stock prior to purchase? Etc. For them it’s a win, win, win!
