court Mediation service Help
ExCouncilJobsworth replied to Blenheim Car Sales's topic in General Dealer Chat
TV i really dont see whether being a minor or not has anything to do with this. The individual has legally made a purchase with her own free will and she was old enough to do so. She wasn't forced into it by OP. Because she's under 18 it doesn't mean she's entitled to a free fix. Had she bought the car from a private billy and the same happened or even a drive shaft snapped she'd go to a garage and they would inform her of the problem and costs. Garage wouldn't waive costs because she's a minor. And again because of age it doesn't mean she should stop communicating with OP If she can communicate on snapchat fb Twitter and all the other crap every 5 minutes she can reply to OP. Don't think judge will be punishing OP because missy didn't communicate and she's a little princess -

HOLD IT BOYS and girls OP has had the car stripped... When was it stripped? From what i have read the car has been off road for 2 years. So did OP take it and strip it AND its still with him? Either way £4800 expenses over 2 years is very fair. £100 a month on travel cards for trains and buses to college or uni. plus depreciation value of vehicle because she wanted to sell it a year later. Lets not forget insurance costs when the vehicle was off road and for a young driver you're looking at silly figures! Perhaps hotel stays where otherwise she would have drove back. Maybe she caught a taxi. Also whoever said she was a minor at 17. You're wrong. Over 16s can buy mobile phones, cars and a range of other things. She could have £5000 savings from a young age or worked? Questions that need answers: Who has the car now and where is it? Why wasn't it fixed? And you need a proper legal person that can represent you. Forget about logistics if they cannot provide someone to represent you! If you're willing to bloody pay her back spend another £500 and get a leagle beagle in! -

I would tell the jobsworth to do one. And explain to him cash isnt crime. Some old people sttill prefer cash. I had a 45yr old geeky banker once the twerpy type who paid me in red notes. And he too said it that cash is seen as crime. He even said he had been to see a few cars and people wouldn't accept cash lol In the UK we seem to get paranoid and worry too much. No thanks to our media they breathe crap down our throats. Whether its healthy eating or brexist

MP Brentford Ltd Its not too far from Kingston. He's an old boy. Fairly large garage. Knows his stuff. To all those that say "cash in hand" is not good for your books. Well sorry to say but just 20 years ago cash was king. Cash was accepted everywhere. Credit cards weren't as much and lets not start about cheque books. Funny how overtime something can be criminal or money laundering. Yet most on here call themselves old boys...think you're just forgetting how important cash was. Current payment methods prove nothing. They only allow the state to monitor your activity and track your whereabouts via cctv. Perhaps a read of Orwells 1984 might help.... Oh modern payment methods are very exploitable by criminals too...and if you're a victim then the authorities will do very little to recall the transaction...

They must be mentally retarded to put you on ignore Mike Brewer. Watching one of your videos makes my day. Well problem is people dont have humour and if you dont have humour then they will put you on ignore. It's also common for people not to havs common sense these days as well. Always found your posts amusing. Straight, simple and to the point with a pinch of humour Hmm emojis seem to be working with the relevant emoji code

Yes you are right. Besides places like facebook also have pre written messages which the lazy generation have to click for it to send for example "Good afternoon is this still available?" "Will you consider p/x?" Such messages are pre written on sale pages Besides texts are written evidence.

Hang it up and look at it. Once when i was working at a council i went to the building control team and gave a telephone number to the team's admin. Admin said "do I have to ring them?" I replied "what the F are you supposed to do with a telephone number? Hang it up and look at it?"

Wrx? Or standard petrol/ diesel?

The website only lists cars that were at a salvage auction. You have 2 issues 1) Manheim isn't salvage auction 2) The vehicle was entered on the database after auction. But 1 supercedes the lot as the website clearly says "vehicles that have been at a salvage auction" Checked some of my own ones and the one that had been to salvage auction comes up and ones that didnt dont come up.

Sorry to hear your loss. I did tell you so! Now do a formal complaint against tosspot cllr. I hate cllrs with a passion. They're clueless dicks Yes. Ignore what others have said about letting it go. This isnt the end of it. He might report you for sub letting your house hAving rubbish on your drive or even to the cops. Or even noise pollution team. From experience i know petty cllrs and complainants like yours press every button. By you reporting them they go on a vexatious list whereby their complaints may go ignored. The cllr may be doing this often and you might be the one that helps to catch him out! -

No one mentioned car park except your mate. (Clearly you cannot see that. Of course you will find it confusing then, even though the thread isnt) Thanks for your input even though there's plenty of arrogance within it. There seems to be a group of pals on this site that always seem to get the wrong end of the stick or twist something to make it sound worse. Others might tolerate the bullshit of these members i certainly wont. A word of advice: in future if people don't have something valid to contribute they should keep out and not make up things and then get idiots like yourself to blame others for not being able to have a joke. There's having a joke and then There's being a cocky little twat and making things up. (Talking of jokes yes people should be able to have them and not start crying over pm) Yet you fail to accept this... Clearly wasn't taught to be impartial and fair. -

Sorry stalker but perhaps you should re read the thread again. I was asking for help but your mate tradex thought he would be judgemental and state that i flogged it from a car park... I speak how am spoken to and treat how am treated. Now he has sent me a pm asking me Why did i mention his wife. Clearly mans having trust issues! Lesson: next time dont try to be cocky to someone you might not get the same attitude in return! Cheers. But i do have a receipt to show it was sold at x date at x time to x person but no address. I also have the mid removal date. It's a bugger but time isnt apparently logged on mid... -

Im sure when i looked at their fee list...with all the cards listed it did say plus vat. Do they charge an online charge like BCA rip off online fee? I would never eat from a grotty place like that...
-
Manheims fees are a little more and they add vat to them from what i understand? BCA fee gold is £206 Manheim equivalent is £190plus 20% = £228 Just another way to confuse you and milk more pennies out Do you notice a much fee difference between platinum and gold?

A lot of cars under £1000 do have £300 to £500+ tax Especially old autos 2.0l plus You buy a 500 quid banger and then pay300 tax... Might as well not tax it. If you get caught you get caught and just buy a new banger. 50% of vehicle value is tax? People would be more alert about this but thanks to DD and this online system prices increase... DD bounce and they're clamped. The UK is an offical conning country...if its not govt its citizens if its not citizens its govt
