  1. I’d consider that issue fixed then. This is something else and not your problem. Even if it is the ecu again, he needs to go back to who fixed it. What nick says above is correct. Nothing to do with you whatsoever. Don’t let this idiot get you down, just tell him straight once and move on.
  2. What time frame did the 2-4 lights appear?
  3. I don’t agree with what Dave is saying here. Firstly, there’s nothing to say this new ‘fault’ is even the same as before! Second, how can it have been there from date of sale and only shown it self twice in 6 months?
  4. I agree with this. My advice is, construct a well written text/letter and send it to him. Make sure you get everything across and don’t contact him again. Don’t get involved in a back and forth conversation. If he wants to go to court let him do it. A similar thing happened to me a couple years back and I went to court (not saying this will happen here), but there are so many things I’d change if it happened again. I wouldn’t get involved in talking to him as this will just bring you down massively and waste loads of time.
  5. Lol yeah! And I’d enjoy every second of it!
  6. Erm because he doesn’t need them turning up Friday and moaning in front of other potential customers then leaving a bad review?
  7. Have you told the other couple that it’s sold? Interested to know what they say!
  8. Can you imagine the agro this guy would’ve caused if the washer jets stopped spraying directly into the centre of the windscreen?!
  9. Makes me laugh this. Even if you had arranged to meet them at 8, they still would’ve arrived at 9:30.
  10. I had this the other evening. My phone was ringing constantly from 8pm on a Saturday night which I decided (quite rightly) not to answer. No messages left. She phoned back the following morning to book an appointment. They arrived looking at the car for their daughter (enough said), it was the MOST painful experience of my life. The Dad turned into a mechanic and ripped the car apart then test drove it wanting to make sure the ABS was working so was slamming the brakes on constantly. They left ‘thinking about it’ then the daughter text a few days later saying her ‘financial advisor’ has advised her it’s not the right time for her to be buying a car of that value. £5k.
  11. Are these booklets on ebay NIck? I know the pads are
  12. what are you guys telling the customer when asked about warranty?
  13. For me it was 3 years until I felt comfertable, however im still learning every day!
  14. I have a set up using similar equiptment. Its average at best! Only works 50% of the time. When I open the app it says no internet connection. Plus if you want notifications sent to your phone it will be going off constantly due to drop in connection. The worst part is it never works when you actually need it. One of them things that looks excellent on the surface but doesnt perform 100%.

  17. May I ask what sort of cover you have got for that money? I.e vehicle value? Liability insurance? Premises etc?
  18. I seem to remember you saying you were packing it in a couple months back? What happened with that part ex you got?
  19. My 3 favourite things about this forum... 1. Advice 2. Benji banter 3. Waiting for Benji to fuck up again
  20. This is normal. I’m convinced it car gurus themselves sending the enquiries to make the platform seem more successful!
  21. Really? I signed up with them a couple years back, never had an issue. Eventually moved to payzone getting a proper terminal with a SIM card. Yes it’s more money per month but very low fees and so much more professional. No more waiting for Bank transfers to clear. Particularly when a customer wants to collect at 8pm and their payment going into security!
