  1. Correct. When these cretins ask questions like ‘is it mint?’ I think to myself, if it was that good it wouldn’t be on an eBay auction would it
  2. Read the negative reviews. Sums it all up really!
  3. I am selling a few of my old part ex smokers on ebay. I know this has been discussed before, but how harsh are we being with these listings? I am laughing to myself as I type the description as it is so brutal. But on the other hand I do want £500+ for the cars so dont want to put most people off using lines like... DO NOT WASTE MY F@KING TIME.
  4. She just wanted a different car Dave
  5. Not how a judge will see it though. CRA doesn’t just apply to ‘slightly used cars’.
  6. Simon, how on earth did you manage to get more than 1 suitcase in that?
  7. Yep! Rather than ‘I just wanna have a quick look! I’m only local! I need to see if it’s this BMW X5 I want, or the Citroen C1 I saw yesterday!’
  8. The dvla’s response is if it’s in the trade it needs to be driven on trade plates but not left anywhere. Trade don’t need to sorn cars.
  9. Thats right but the dvla wont care about this. You will have to get a letter from the coucil to say that the area you parked in is not maintained at the publics expense, THEN they will drop the second fine. Also, if you sorn'd the car that is the dvla's way of screwing you even more. Because if the car was sorn'd they would ask you how you managed to drive it there in the first place. You cant say I drove it there with trade plates because thats what 'in the trade is for'. Just speaking from my experience!
  10. Trade plates will allow you to take the car from them without taxing it. Also, this exact thing happened to me a while back. The problem isnt the release fee... Soon, you will receive a letter from the DVLA asking to explain why it was parked on the road with out tax, you will have to explain your story on the 'statement section'. Then a couple weeks later they will fine you again, in my case it was a further £160.
  11. Well done that man! Healthy commission?
  12. Was you turning a profit even in the early years Nick?
  13. Simon, was that you 20 years ago? Hahaha
  14. Simons right. After 30 days you have the right to repair. He can’t demand a refund unless the repair fails and the fault returns.
  15. Nick, I think you had a result with 5 customers waiting for you to return from holiday!

I didn’t think you was buying the Astra? What’s with the name change Benji?
  18. Lol could you imagine putting these boards on your cars as a doorstepper! The council would be round in less than an hour
  19. This is excellent advice. I had a meeting with someone from NextGear a few months back. I still can’t believe the amount they charge! Admin fees, monthly audit fees, annual fees, set up fees, the list goes on! I decided against it. It must be cheaper to borrow the money from the bank!
  20. Mine went up too. But then again I did scratch someone’s bumper in Feb and they claimed against my insurance company for over £1800.
  21. I think this is the first case I’ve heard of where planning has been approved?
