  1. Just a quick one, do all Minis have a high biting point on the clutch? It does spin and stalls just fine, but I seem to remember the last one I had aswell having an unusually high Clutch?
  2. Atleast! Hybrids seem to sell very well round here
  3. Saw a high mileage 2015 Toyota Auris hybrid go through Bedford bca yesterday, 199000 miles, suprisingly clean with FSH, didnt expect it to fetch much as the batteries probably wanted replacing but it fetched over 4K if I remember correctly!
  4. Always the way when you try to help family/friends out!
  5. Nick, its actually all your good words on here about Autotrader that has made me make the jump from the PAYG adverts to the monthly package job as of today! Yes its now one of my biggest expenses, but it does work! 75% of my previous leads have been from Autotrader (the rest from facebook) so I'm happy to pay!
  6. Think its more HDR on an iphone and then post processed through an app to within an inch of its life.
  7. Well I've just had a text saying "he's been burnt before and doesnt want to take the risk"..... Which probably means hes realised it's going to cost £200 for the report.
  8. I'm guessing its the engine warning light that's put the distrust there!
  9. Very very good point, why would you buy a product if you don't trust the person/company selling it?
  10. Very good point, although I'm not sure this guy is bluffing, I'm also not sure if he is the type to fork out £200 for an inspection on a car he's already tried to get a few bob off.
  11. Bugger I should have known that! Thankyou
  12. I've been trying to figure it out for the past 20 mins, you're going to have to tell me!
  13. That would be nice as people have been ringing for it! Mostly tyre kickers but hey ho haha
  14. Guess it will be a good experience to go through
  15. He hasn't left a deposit yet! So no refund necessary, might just tell him its sold and redo the photos
  16. So had a chap come to look at a 2009 Mondeo 103k on Sunday, sorted out delivery for him etc but it threw an engine warning light the next day. Turns out one of the boost pipes had come loose and just needed a new jubilee clip. He's now saying he wants an AA report doing on the car this Saturday... It's all properly prepped, had new discs, pads, calipers and bearings on the back and it's got 12 months MOT Is it worth saying to him it's not really worth doing on a 9 year old car that's done 103k? My thinking behind it is he's going to expect a new car for £2.5k.....
  17. Chucked my first one to the block on Thursday, it went through on Friday but I haven't heard anything? Does it normally take a few days for a phone call or email? Or do you just get the cheque in the post?
  18. Copy the link under IMG, on your phone you have to click share and then "get links", on your PC, should just be on the right of the picture
  19. I run a Sony nex5n with a basic kit lens and a polarising filter on the end. Its probably the bottom end of the "dslr" range (desperatly want to upgrade) and it does take alot longer than using my phone but I love the results.
  20. Been following it for years, takes them ages to put content out but good lord it's good!
  21. Just sorting out some accounting software, nothing seems to be suitable for used car dealers with vat margins and part exs etc, without plugins or extra manual input. Does anyone run the bbsol plugin with sage 50? Just wondering how people have got on with it.
  22. https://www.led-supplies.com/led-panels/white/led-panel-light-600-x-600mm-4000k/ Slap a couple of these on the ceiling and aim them downwards, would make your workshop look like a professional photography studio!
  23. Havent even looked at the price of there packages as of yet, still deciding weather to just go with AT, or with ebay and the rest
