  1. I'd be interested to see who does and who doesnt use AT on here and stock levels and average sales for both.
  2. 1 more today here too.........only thing is I am finding its only low value stuff that seems to be moving at the moment.
  3. Looks good. Onwards and upwards. All the best for the future!
  4. I'm always thinking this, there is no way surely that by the time fees go on top you can make a profit after further prep and valeting etc.
  5. Gone for an engine mount due to excessive vibration running through the car and to investigate a lack of power at 70mph plus, which I've found out today is the turbo........ Hmmm..... Wonder why he got rid of it.
  6. Currently in stock i have a vehicle who's last keeper was this guy https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Dannatt Never heard of him myself but when i saw Sir on the v5 i thought I'd look him up, previously head of the army and now a member of the house of Lords.
  7. I keep getting calls with the "enquiry from Autotrader" intro which gets me excited........... Only for it to be some guy saying in a thick Irish accent "hello dere its Shane calling from handler protect". Autoraper rep keeps emphasising how we are doing so well with our enquiries, half of them are from tinkers trying to flog us warranties!
  8. No reason why they should get a problematic car i agree however expectations differ between their "new" car and an actual brand new vehicle. Often the stuff such as this may be just ten percent of its equivalent new price however punter still believes it should be as new. Most of these people have unrealistic expectations and think that as it's been bought from a forecourt they can bring it back no matter what happens.
  9. Watching your progress so far you'll sail it.
  10. Start watching "narcos" james then "Pablo Escobar el patron del mal" on Netflix! Honestly it will enhance your life!
  11. I pay 6k a year with Arista, that includes stock cover and we have approx 50 to 60 cars in stock. Physical forecourt, main road set up with the stress and hassle which is included free of charge.
  12. Angle grinder and the spare keys would be one of my first thoughts.
  13. Had a punter today, best price, last price, cash price....... Showed them the last mot failures for shocks, brakes etc plus my parts and labour bill to rectify this and just said we cannot do anything I'm afraid
  14. Explain you paid vat and have repreparation and advertising costs again to put it back on autoraper etc and I'd say in the region of 600 too 800 would be a fair amount provided the book value hasn't dropped too much.
  15. I've had them leave a deposit as the car is a good price, right colour and spec etc, held car for a week only for the numpties to turn up and try to start negotiating the price......... I'd had the sense to keep the numbers of other enquiries in the meantime so told the original customer to do one and also sold the car the same day to another person.
  16. Ah them were the days, astra gte's 8v and 16v versions, nova gte then gsi's, cavalier Sri 130's then cavalier gsi etc calibra turbos............they'd be a thief's dream too. Wasn't a Vauxhall man myself but remember them well, as others have said they are considered collectors items now if you have a minter. I had a fiesta rs turbo in white once, lovely car in it's day.
  17. At 23 plus 4 budget, eBay mp, cargurus, motors and exchange and fart. On the proper package as you call it its just a set price every month for the amount of vehicles quoted above. I'd love to be able to get along without having to use it but as others say on here ultimately it does sell cars.
  18. 5k a month here...... 50 cars on average in stock.
  19. I use this and it's decent.
  20. Mr Clarke (or whatever your surname may be), don't take this the wrong way however can i genuinely ask if you get the prices you advertise for? Just spotted you have a polo like i have in stock, now autoraper says this should reta2for 4800, your price is 5800 and that's with 695 off? Very interested to hear your answer to this as it will certainly make me think about our pricing.
