  1. Sounds awesome, how old are you Justin, I'd love to do this but with 3 kids its a definite no.
  2. He knows . They want a brand new car at the price of a ten year old one. Sorry sir, see the sign outside, we are a used car retailer. Therefore Go And Buy A New One....... GABANO
  3. One word for people like this......... "GABANO"
  4. Right, in before AD with the obligatory monthly post, we're a third of the way into November, how's everyone doing. Poor form has continued from October for us, lack of enquiries generally, pathetic offers on the ones we have been getting, not much footfall either. Just about covering the bills last few months, maybe even a slight loss overall.
  5. I recall your pink one AD
  6. Way too many bog standard ones out there and i too a couple of years back made the mistake of buying these. Once i had a sticker or 2 i promised it that i wouldn't bother again, funny enough though i have also had 2 cabrios that went relatively easily.
  7. James, did you get my previous message?
  8. Pendragon are bad...... Sorry make that really bad. They go on with everything unless it's the sh1t that they've already identified as crap, i take it you boys already know this though right?
  9. Makes me laugh as us dealers are liable for selling the car yet its manufacturers aren't even though they built the item and installed a lifetime chain in the engine. Hows that work then!
  10. No way was it there at time of sale and I'm wondering whether it showed any signs of noise etc prior to failure and perhaps whether any sign was ignored and the car just being used as normal. The customer of course won't admit this even if it was the case. She started off nicely and has now started threatening to send her husband over blah blah blah. Haven't seen the car yet, she states she's only done 1000 miles or so since purchase and yes i feel that if we do get it back we are leaving ourselves open.
  11. Had a call today that a vehicle we sold over 4 months ago has had a timing chain snap, we offer 3 months warranty as standard and I'm looking for any advice on where we stand with this. Car had done approx 100k, no signs of any noise while it was in our possession and drove fine to us and when we used it prior to sale. Anyone on here had a similar scenario?
  12. Got a 2013 honda civic petrol with the same issue. Battery is fine but start stop warning still thrown up
  13. James, mind if i pm you with some questions?
  14. Very quiet with me too, lack of enquiries is concerning
  15. Fed up to the back teeth of people that buy in their eyes "a new car" and want to keep coming back months after with normal wear and tear items that clearly were ok at the point of sale.
  16. These types are all I'm getting lately too.
  17. Trade centre wales, trade centre uk and 7 day cars is definitely a big operation for you Justin
  18. You know yourself Nick that putting £400 to £500 across the bonnet per unit will certainly shift them quicker and if you are a private or perhaps a doorstepper with little or no overheads then it may work but this won't cater for comebacks etc and is not the way i would run a business.
  19. Soooooo many bullsh1tters in this game it's unreal, they are all the best buyers, best sellers, best description writers, best photographers, have the best sales pitch etc etc etc. I've got upto 50 in stock, main road site and best month ever was 27, haven't touched that for a while though. He's either exaggerating his sales figures or quite possibly w4nking them away with too little profit which for me is quite frankly not worth doing as overheads for us are massive, 5k a month advertising, 3 wages, parts, rent, tyres, mot and repairs, fuel, transportation costs, paint all come out at around 20k plus.
  20. AT double stock offer starts in December through to Jan, after that it's half price stock for Feb/March i believe.
