£80 Nick, show me where i can get one for this, I've been quoted nigh on double that!

Got a 2006 Mercedes c180 in stock, erratic issues where sometimes it won't shift up from first and then other times ot changes fine but on parking up the gearstick will leave "d" get to "n" and won't go past there, cannot engage reverse or get into park unless ignition is knocked off and vehicle restarted. I'm thinking faulty gear selector, anyone come across this previously? Thanks in advance.

I've also got alerts on vehicles and spent this morning calling to see why markers haven't been cleared etc. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me

Bang on! I've got plenty of "banger boys" down my way, leave it to them to rat out all the sh1tters that we don't retail and they are happy to earn a few quid on the side. Best way all round for me as i don't want people coming to the forecourt either and there's no links back to us too.

I pay 45 for a new pvc (leather) panel to be sown in on these, same as a 1 series. To me £100 appears expensive but maybe I've been lucky all the years with my local guy.

Bought one of the above, no problem for the first 60 miles or so then i noticed a strange idling pattern where it would sound like a diesel rather then a petrol, this would come and go. Few more miles then eml on, said camshaft sensor, changed this, light back on. Had someone else look at it, said timing has slipped and needs new chain......... 600 quid later and car still has the occasional rattle but he said light has remained off so i picked it up. Drove it and less than 7 miles later light is back on. At my wits end with it now, anyone come across this, not had many petrol audis previously if I'm honest.......... Won't be getting any in the future either.

I've actually said this to people "do you think we get these cars given to us for free then simply prep and clean them ready for sale?" Some of the great british public seem to think we don't actually buy this stock in, baffles me how stupid some people are.

29 so far......... Best month ever for us although now struggling to buy...... Same old story.

My sales this week have done the following miles, 157k, 151k, 129k, 97k, 109k, 19k. Some good margins in them too.

Just got a 2012 model in, mileage flashes constantly on the speedometer, anyone had this problem? Driven a fair amount in it, still persists, knocked ignition on and off, still persists, removed battery for ten mins........ Still persists! No more fiat's!

Grant, i had a 2009 A5 coupe with exactly this problem, sold vehicle only for it to come back with customer saying oil light kept coming on along with the message etc, quick look online and i found the common issue with this engine, very well known and watchdog got involved too i believe, Audi weren't helping people before that point. Took it to my local MD who drained oil, filled with correct amount and sent me on my way, couple of hundred miles later light was back on, failed the oil consumption test with Audi and replacement engine had to be fitted, around 90% was covered by Audi themselves and i had to stump up around £1400 i think, it was like pulling teeth trying to get to that stage though as they tried to wriggle out due to some non dealer history later on in the cars life, took a bit of stern arguing on my behalf in order to get the matter sorted. Would never ever touch one again with all the hassle and stress it caused me.

I've had this issue, will give you more info tomorrow Grant........it's late and I'm shattered.
