Online only dealer Cazoo’s ambitious plans revealed
Stalker replied to James Baggott's topic in General Dealer Chat
I wonder how many of the 217,000 cars will be the part exchanges sold for a loss/slight profit at the auctions? This is how the Pinocchio dealers ramp up their numbers it seems? Everytime i go to BCA Newcastle i see all four of their covered transporters (£90k a piece!) sat there gathering dust. -
I’m starting a technician next week that is coming from our local MG dealer. I’ll quiz him and get back to you HP if you like? He did say a while ago they are doing timing chains daily on low mileage nearly new cars

Yes, well said. Grant, delete thread and start a new one in private forum.

you know what.... there used to be a guy on here before Christmas told jokes just like these.... where has he gone? -
I agree..... WTF are you on about?
-
Quite informative thanks for that. All of the Dayco and Ina kits We have had have the extra two studs in. Never touched them and have just torqued the tensioner nut down fine it’s only 20nm plus 45deg from memory. Yes it’s amazing how many people use tippex and don’t use the tools and loosen the cam pulley bolts to set the timing.
-
Your right, this engine is not affected by the oil pump problems. I was of the opinion that the Tensioner stud should not be removed. Most of the horror stories I’ve heard relate to the tensioner stud pulling the threads out with it.

USED AUDI TT 1984 - 2011 Does that mean it was born in 1984 and died in 2011? -
On that year the injectors will be shot... If it’s the 170, it needs thrown in the bin. As above a micra or Yaris would’ve more suitable for the next 6 months until he has to give up his licence.

Tyre pressures? Dpf regen? brake hanging on? injector over fuelling? How much did you pay for your fuel? supermarket shite is £1.20 per litre. £30 worth is 25 litres, 25 litres is 5.5 gallons. I make that 35mpg? Urban driving I’d have said was ok for that car.

It’s because BCA are feeding duff info to CAP.

WTF?

Welcome..... I'm intrigued how a two wire washer pump needs to be genuine? Not having a go..... just curious?
-
This is a good call, however im not sure Benji has access to diagnostic stuff!
-
It must be the stalk, ill have a look at the wiring diagram and see how it switched the polarity and get back to you.
-
Slow cooker.... fooking mush maker!
-
Well it must be a switch/bsi fault. It only has two wires going to the pump? It’s simple it reverses the polarity depending upon front or rear. Have you got a test light benji?
-
Most Vauxhall engines fail to the point that the look as though they are powered by steam!
-
What kind of car is it? Gold is not a recognized colour from memory, it might be classed as silver... which is also wrong so might be best to just leave it?
-
First thing is gonna be a software update, then a hardware fault. As simple as that I’d say.
-
Look at the op profile? Exactly what I thought, probably shook hands too!
-
So...... Who's gonna get their arse smacked for this one at Vertu VW Nottingham?
-
Benji, get yourself a cheap circuit tester, get the plug off the washer pump and see what it’s doing when you activate the switch for the front and rear washers. surely a second hand wiper motor will be cheap for one? and the washer pumps are pennies for a new one. Forget the stalk (com2000000 jobby) for now, but don’t forget the bsi
-
I hate it when that happens, You need to get the girl that pulls the cars to go find it..... shes mint! Proper kicks off at the other useless staff there as well!
-
Dont spoil it
