Wouldn't a taxi need a new inspection / MOT to get its plate?

Him and Neil used to dress it all up a bit though.
Bit more blunt these days.

Seriously how many are left that don't send the lot to BCA or DA ?
-
Not really, some are dirt cheap and they give them away

Thanks

Been a while since I have looked at any UKCGR Select entries
Are they still all dogs ?

The Shitroen is a very brave purchase.... However it will sell eventually, Ive just checked the price on the Autotrader and it seems ok.
Good price - yes, but these MPVs just don't sell anymore. Market has moved onto small SUV
Remember how many Mk1 Zafira's and Picasso's you used to see ?
Latest Zafira has been out 3+ years now and I have barely seen 5 on the roads. -
I'd like to know who are these members of the public paying £22-24k for 2012 Range Rover's ?!
(and what is the potential downside to retailing them - I know, I know !)

Funny how certain cars suddenly drop in popularity

rear tinting is £80-90 in B'ham, might be worth shopping around

He's right though.
Starting out, they need to gain momentum with AT / eBay adverts.
Website can wait -

Always a dear auction in my opinion

More restaurants and bars, both chains and independants.

Can someone explain to me why so many of the ex-Motability cars are less than 18 months old ?
Surely there is some kind of minimum term contract ?
-
I have to honest, I am surprised that such a vanilla car sold that quickly.
They're not popular cars anymore

You can get the car up for sale immediately with images from the front, back and multiple interior and detail shots while you are waiting for the wheels to be refurbed. Write in the advert something like "19in Artura alloy wheels in gunmetal grey" and if a customer comes to view the car before it's done just show it as is. If they question the colour let them know that it's booked in and would they still prefer gunmetal or the original silver...

How much was that ?
£8.5k-£9k ?

'Chuck a clutch on it'
If it's not that, you could probably source an Astra / Vetra box for it for nothing

Just another 20th century fad that will pass like balloons, bunting and boots open already has.

I also avoid cars that need a lot of bodywork as both bodyshops I use are not 100% consistent in their finish quality, not even 90% unfortunately.
EML on? On a 7-8 year old BMW? Sure. If the chain doesn't rattle I will sometimes take a chance depending on the fault code that BCA provide or if buying privately I scan everything.
No way you bought your BMW i3's at Cap Below !

1 hour ago, Nick M.K. said:Our job effectively is to buy Grade 2 cars at CAP Below or under. If you can do that consistently you can do well.
Come on, really ?
Maybe for the occasional 10 year old car or something with the EML on but most of what you buy fits this criteria ?

They absolutely refused to take back a £8k car with a failed turbo and EML despite a clear report.
Took 6 months to get £200 against a £800 repair
