Ask about where he is driving (obviously city) and compare with the urban combined cycle figures which probably aren't far off in an old tech auto petrol.

A member on here runs RS Car Sales, Cheshire.
Impressive turnover on what seems to be a lot of Facebook traffic.

I use a Delphi Clone which is really good but doesn't seem to be that good On Bmw or Mercedes
I would be tempted to buy the cheap iCarSoft MB V2.0 for £135 for just your Merc
Does practically everything -

I heard a rumour that Alphabet cars are to be avoided, this was one of them. Never again.
4 Year old 320D
On collection, I found a Manheim auction entry sheet from 3 months earlier in the middle of the service books....
Despite a rosy AA report, the car had a blown turbo and an EML- they refused to acknowledge and insisted on a further 2 x 20 mile AA tests showed the car to be fine.
I even brought my own fault scanner and dragged the branch manager out to observe and they refused to do anything.
6 Months later I got £200 in goodwill of a Platinum account.
Still, they've got the volume..

Bought a Bentley from there, glowing green across the board. Just had it returned after 3 weeks due to electrical issues, no interior fans and it failing to start as soon as it was delivered. Don't know how much it cost BCA to repair but it was away for such a long time I thought we were going to get a refund. Never used such a unprofessional AH.
Bedford are worse, but necessary.
Don't get me started -
No but I could just tell from your story. Those afternoon sales at Bedford are ridiculous sometimes, they give some stuff away.
Best one I can remember was a 1 year old Cyrus White Discovery Sport Auto, went cheap at £22k because it was non-UK but doesn't really matter. The day after it was up for £30k and sold not long after.

Nicely done

You must be lucky, B7 A4's were troublesome 5 years ago let alone now.

Troublesome aftersales ?
Not everyone can get away with Arthur Dealey's approach

Obviously, but I would not risk the cash flow for the sake of £1600 p/mth

Mileage is too high for a £5k+ example in my opinion
-
Let me get this straight, you are big enough to have a £10m turnover but quibbling over £1600 p/month ?!
Dropping Autotrader will do zilch for your profitability -
There was 4/5 traders in Birmingham who used to flip coins amongst themselves. Worked out well for them

Get the codes read, it's not difficult
Could be the MAF, could be anything

However there are a few pre lci facelift 10 plates with silver trim had early N18 engines. I think they intro’d the engine March 2010 and then the lci facelift around sept on a 60 plate with the black trim.
Thankyou
What is the deal with circa 2010 Coopers with reflective stickers on the arches like a USA car ?

Enlighten me? I always thought :
N14 = silver trim on radio
N18 = black trim on radio
Or you could just use the free VIN checker on realOEM
