  1. I work at a main dealer ( Family owned garage ) but put most of our trade cars on dealer auction, think we sold about 120 now and not had one issue, have heard some of the guys who come to collect the cars tell us horror stories about other places.
  2. even if I tried to put one of our shitters on autotrader and did the advert as bad as I could still don't think I could match this advert for poorness.

  6. Customers who say the car seems expensive for what it is, when you then ask them what evidence they base this on they just say dunno just is.

See it quite a lot on facebook pages. people being rude because they feel you are a business and wont be rude back. last place I worked at every other advert we put up the same guy would come back and troll the car and make negative comments, think the last comment he made was about a car being expensive and overpriced, we responded about him not having a pot to piss in.... not too professional but he didn't troll us again.

Visitor: need to know bottom line price........ cant stand when peoples opening question is this, have just started with a reply of do you have your debit card on your for a £500 deposit when we agree a deal right now ? oh you don't ? well maybe ask that question when you can buy my product then.
  11. if they have a few to look at I don't mind a drive but I wont entertain any offers or discounts until they decide its the one for them. and again if we are not pretty much agreed on figures or in the same ballpark they are not driving the car.
  12. Must admit we have started to look at valuing part exchanges pretty much straight away before a test drive if we think we will be miles away on figures. Had a lady with a DS3 yesterday knew she wanted brewsters for it. we offered £2800 she expected £3500 wasn't any movement from any side so we both moved on

Similar here, oh we have 5 more to go and view but whats your best price..... well if I do you a good deal now you wont need to go and look and the others surely.... no we still will, ok no problem don't try a rob a bank with a banana then my friend come back when you some intent of following through.

Customer has an appointment shows up spends 20 mins looking over the vehicle its a nice car, full history no marks or damage 32k 2015 Suzuki Swift after all that he says no something doesn't seem right about it for me so I think I will leave it. Sorry to hear that thanks anyway.............. and then he comes out with the old....... Just out of interest whats Mine worth Your not buying a car from us so there is no interest from us so its not worth me looking at it. Frustrating day and then you get gimps like this

Its the internet age, get someone behind a screen and they turn into a tough man. had a customer recently in the showroom nice guy he seemed we didn't agree a deal, discussed a few things and agreed to disagree. few days later an email complaint comes in.... saying how he felt I was aggressive my views were not to his liking ! and generally being rude. I actually rang him and said don't send emails like this it comes across as cowardice and why don't you come down and discuss this face to face like a man, cut to him saying sorry he didn't mean what he put and generally being apologetic. people felt tough behind a screen I guess when they think there is no comeback
  20. My video and "Sales Process" is equally designed to ensure both yours and my precious time isn't wasted perfect ^ statement there, I have started to say this to customers now well maybe not the video part but everything else is valid to me.

Strictly this happened after the test drive but still makes me chuckle, knobhead customers trying to rag a car all through the test drive I finally had enough and asked him to pull over as I was going to drive back, I don't mind someone driving fast but he was right up the arse of other cars and being far too aggressive for a test drive, sat in silence with him on the way back to the dealership.... after we both got out of the car he said that car is sh*t anyway and I wouldn't buy from you pr*cks.... gets into his car and tries to speed off out of our car park but he fails to see the metal gate posts just infront of him and smash..... beaches himself on them and rips his front end off. look on his face was priceless
  23. not pikeys just nosey fellas, sometimes we do get oh im a friend of the person whos bought it just was asked to have a look at it...... but no these guys literally wanted to piss about wasting time

Not sure anyone else has this happen to them but its a slight annoyance to me. we have a lovely sized pitch roughly about 70 used cars all nicely lined up price boards In cars clean and so on..... we also have in the far corner a section for our sold stuff its right at the back In the corner and its clearly where are sold cars are, all have sold boards in them way away from the pitch and yet we still get people wander straight over there and start pressing their faces on the windows looking in..... perfect example 30 mins ago, 2 fellas about 40ish drive onto our car park get out of their car and walk straight to our sold section..... spend 5 mins looking in them and I wander out to ask if I can help to be asked stuff like are all these sold.... yes they have sold in them..... what was the mileage on those..... and my favourite can I sit in that one..... no sorry its sold.... sorry that's my gripe of the day
