Agree 100% some nice stock can be had but it cant really be bought on the cheap. always keep an eye out for certain dealers usually they give in depth descriptions and even a contact number if you fancy a chat about the car we do this also. good luck ocs.

Web based yes, you are bidding to buy but obviously if its not as described then you can refuse the car, if you do this too many times you can get reported and chucked off the site. make sure the cars you are looking at have had good pictures taken and detailed appraisal. we let anyone whos bought our cars test drive no issue so cant see others not doing so.

We tend to put quite a few part ex vehicles on dealer auction. We are always honest with our descriptions and have never had an issue with collections, people usually pay in advance and just load it up or drive it away. people are welcome to drive them first and spend as long as they want inspecting it. £300 golf gt tdi went yesterday on a trailer.... no lie he spent about 1 hour looking around the thing.

Sounds like Robins and Day basically lied about who had owned the car, I have seen a few garages who don't own up to who was on the v5 as an owner ie rent a cars and such. We don't tend to get involved with these cars but on the rare case we do honesty always the best policy.

Work at a main dealer here. and we are currently using Dealer Auction to move most of our px vehicles and I am really surprised at how much places are paying for stuff. example Toyota Yaris Diesel 07 with 112k bodywork damage on it and decent history. someone just gave us £1500 it booked at about £1200 without the damage ! looking on autotrader and others places cant see where he will make his profit.

we have honestly found that the local paper has worked well for us the last few months, so far 15 used cars sold this month and 10 were from people seeing it in the paper. we don't use autotrader either it never worked for us

Must admit we have just had a customer use you guys to arrange his finance and collect his car after being declined with ourselves. Very easy portal to use and payout within 15 mins so highly recommend these guys even if we didn't get the commission

I sometimes try to work the logic out and wonder if other people in their jobs get similar people...... for example would a person working in a travel agents get a customer walk in and say.... Hi I am looking at booking a holiday somewhere not sure where or how much I really want to spend.... I deffo wouldn't go to Egypt but would you mind telling me a bit about it even though I wouldn't go there.

Similar customer earlier. Looking at our CRV right miles age spec condition, after showing them around it for 10 mins............... they said well its everything we want but its not an auto so its a no, can we drive it though to give us an idea of how it is... well mr customer if you drove this and loved it would you consider buying this manual.... Customer no It has to be auto... then no im sorry there is no point in us going for a drive in it. Had to explain to him we are not a Honda dealership and wont buy a crv auto in for stock. Couldn't understand why we didn't want to drive him in a car he literally had not a interest in buying

We have managed to get about 98% of our customers to pay via bank transfer and no issues so far. we take £100 deposit on a debit card and ask for the balance via bank transfer. everyone seems to be fine with it so far.

Prob would have preferred you to lie, so people can keep up this image of us sales people being complete basta*ds. Imagine her now going around telling her friends.... well he was far too honest I was offended at the amount of truths he was coming out with !!

Seems so, Its a really nice thing, 2 alloys need refurbs that's it, no fiat dealer will touch the thing. customer even tried to sell it to them privately and they were not interested.

Black with red leather seats. upgraded exhaust sounds decent, owes us £8500, they seem to retail at about £9795 - £9995. have had a trade bid of £8750 so most likely will get rid of it

Have a fiat abarth 595 turismo coming px next few days 63 plate 22k, black with red leather. not many of these things about on autotrader or elsewhere is that a good or a bad thing... anyone with experience of these ? we are not sure to retail or trade any thoughts would be appreciated.
