Those foreign non-payer bidders are why I stopped ebay auctions, these complete and utter scumbags bidding in the last minute with absolutely no intent on buying. You could have a 10 day auction finishing 8pm on a Sunday and then "scoobynaznazhussein69" bids in the last second and fecks it all up. It still really makes me ANGRY...

Deposit prior to appointment, simply confirm it’s fully refundable on collection if miss described. Listen to the excuses and learn.....

Dealer working from home vs Neighbour (problem)
Arfur Dealy replied to premi-motor's topic in General Dealer Chat
Guys, To make it clear I don’t wear nor need a syrup and fig I’m fifty and my hair isn’t enhanced, coloured or even bothered with in any respect, it’s totally natural and the complete envy of the greater majority of my buds -
Its such a lovely car to drive, how mercs used to feel Big like painting my floor has been a shed load of work, and I mean a lot of work.. Next year I'll concentrate on my offices If you sell on honesty and accuracy and guarantee it the billy has no excuse but to agree or give you reasons as to why they don't want to buy, you are far better off finding this out prior to appointing and wasting your time when said billy isnt actually wanting to buy or looking for a friend or etc etc etc... Why should you make an appointment and give away your money / time to someone who just wants to just "av a look". Qualify every customer.

You are better off offering all your MOT, service and repair work to a local garage which will value your custom and ask them if in return you meet and great your billies there...... I did it for years..................... -

Mmm Brad Pitt me thinks -
My deposit across the board is £100, it’s fully refundable if inaccurate, plus with the guarantee all travel costs will also be refunded, no quibble. No genuine buyer has an excuse not to buy, it calls their bluff.

Planning doesn’t need to be applied for, the property is a family home, the government want to encourage small business. -

James, you are wrong. He has every write to sell cars from his home as long as the main use of the property hasn’t changed. In fact the government encourages it. -
I'm glad yours sold quickly, mine even got a full Audi history, I've only had two sniffs both declaring themselves as pondlife immediately... I think its the interior colour on mine, it looks green but its actually grey........ The CD system doesn't work aswell, so I think I'll get a cheap bluetooth satnav thingy fitted at Halfords and put up the price. I've just reMOT'd it and will re-advertise it shortly.

The third worst month of the year, started really well then absolutely nothing for 15 days (my longest draught period), then sold a couple just before month end........ It's a rollercoaster. Its always the same, when someone's having it off others are cutting their wrists......

Here we go again..... AT work for me, the ROI is worth the money, never had a red month, but my outgoings are minimal, on my 4th car I’m usually in the black.... BTW, where are you GG, have you retired or won the lottery ? -
Audi TT 3.2 Quattro since 14/05/18, it’s started to laugh at me every morning when I arrive....

Are you ever HAPPY with your sales figures?

I consider the car to be sold from the moment the deposit arrives, but you can equally mark it as sold from the point the balance is paid, if you stick to one or the other you then get a true reflection of the month sales for stats.

James, I’m very aware of the preparation requirements on newer cars. The op is specifically talking about diversifying in older stock.
