  1. James, you are wrong. He has every write to sell cars from his home as long as the main use of the property hasn’t changed. In fact the government encourages it.
  2. I'm glad yours sold quickly, mine even got a full Audi history, I've only had two sniffs both declaring themselves as pondlife immediately... I think its the interior colour on mine, it looks green but its actually grey........ The CD system doesn't work aswell, so I think I'll get a cheap bluetooth satnav thingy fitted at Halfords and put up the price. I've just reMOT'd it and will re-advertise it shortly.
  3. What's funny is, I agree with both of you....
  4. The third worst month of the year, started really well then absolutely nothing for 15 days (my longest draught period), then sold a couple just before month end........ It's a rollercoaster. Its always the same, when someone's having it off others are cutting their wrists......
  5. Hi Gents, just taken this lovely C200 Sport in PX, only 94K with 10 former. Very solid underneath and its straight, interior is mint, it's a good looker...... Owes Me £325 with a New MOT.......How do you value it ?? £990 scream right to me...but so does £1490 ????
  6. Here we go again..... AT work for me, the ROI is worth the money, never had a red month, but my outgoings are minimal, on my 4th car I’m usually in the black.... BTW, where are you GG, have you retired or won the lottery ?
  7. Audi TT 3.2 Quattro since 14/05/18, it’s started to laugh at me every morning when I arrive....
  8. I consider the car to be sold from the moment the deposit arrives, but you can equally mark it as sold from the point the balance is paid, if you stick to one or the other you then get a true reflection of the month sales for stats.
  9. James, I’m very aware of the preparation requirements on newer cars. The op is specifically talking about diversifying in older stock.
  10. Absolutely agree, honesty and transparency sells cars, no need to over prep cosmetics just price it competitively. No point in over prepping unless it adds value. Mechanical prep really sells cars, new Mot, no advisories, just serviced..... etc You can spend that extra £500 on paint but will you get it back ? .. if of course it came to you well under book then yes get paint.
  11. Love it me too, but Halfords gloss back, spray the tyres aswell for £10. Black alloys sells cars, no need to spend £300, do it yourself for 30 minutes work. It completely changes a car.
  12. Guys, I've been using Rhino 105, its good value at £24 for 25L delivered and its also great on interiors and carpets...... What do you guys use or recommend ?
  13. knob jockeys Haven't heard that in years... lol
  14. The secret to prepping correctly is balancing whether it'll add value or make it more desirable, some billys aren't looking for a mint car, they could be after a dog car or alternatively it could be their weekend prized possession. Go with your gut. BTW, welcome Brunswick. Simon
  15. If you could bottle it........ I treat myself and the family to a couple of holidays abroad each year and weekends down the caravan, otherwise only beer and Chinese (food)
