Good Morning everyone, I have been reading this forum for over a year and I have learnt so much from everyone who contributes. I wanted some advice from people who are more experienced than myself. I have been trading from home for over a year and have been getting good sales and very good reviews. I am based in west London and I buy ex-lease cars that have full maintenance history that range in price from £6k - £13k retail. I am thinking of investing more into this business and renting a showroom close to where I live. This showroom has the capacity to hold 14 cars and the asking rent is for around £3k/ month. I have managed to source around £100k that from several people who can invest into this business. I am excited for this venture but I want some words of advice from any of the members here. Is it a good time to be going into this sector? is the investment enough? will I be able to be profitable with £3k/month rent for 14 car showroom? Thank you, Faz

Yes, I wear one out of respect for the wishes of others, I have one in each of our Vehicles so I don't forget it, it just sickens me that there are so many ignorant folks around up here right now !! Very brave ignorant bastards they are, I actually spent a day in the shop last week dealing with them, not once did I get shopping thrown around or verbal abuse ................ Fuckin cowards, but of course when the ladies are there on their own, these wankers get all brave and think they are clever !! You cant fix stupid comes to mind, i got told off yesterday for not wearing a mask and how her husband has had lung cancer so he has to wear one everywhere, i was soooo tempted but didnt ask why she wasnt wearing one ? they both got in there cars he took his mask off feeling very safe for the protection it afforded him and drove off with his wife feet away from him who hasnt wore one once.

This guy pulls up with a Suzuki Swift Sport ,White , 15 plate , nice service history good miles . lovely condition to be fair . HPI clean , Decent MOT , two keys his car as hes got his licence and V5 So far all good A few questions later and hes telling me what he wants , to be fair again hes not being greedy either as I would have hit him at that figure anyway . So far all good Ok fella I'll take that then I say , Give me your bank details and I'll Transfer and do the docs for you Now . Now here's where we go down hill Er Ok then he goes , " but i still want to drive it because i need it for work " how does that work fella was my response "Well i need to keep it till sept 20th when my insurance runs out because I cant get insurance on the new car till then as I need my No Claims . " But that's TWO Months away yet I say " "Well I'm looking for a deposit on my Swift and I will save it for you as I need a deposit for my new car and haven't got any money " You have to give the fella 10/10 for even thinking that's possible , I told him to go away don't be stupid , or sell the car NOW and put a deposit down while your catching the bus to work . Regards the insurance , leave it running if you must . They are getting more dopey by the week

There is a deal in my mind as well , He sells me the car and walks home LOL period , done , he has to learn in life in my opinion .

Think hes one of many out there who expect others to fix their problems.
