My motto for everything or every hardship is "we got a roof we got food and at least we're not going through rubble and wondering if our kids have been shot like in Iraq Afghanistan and everywhere else" When i think this i dont give a flying monkeys about someone shouting screaming at me or threatening court action or some daft parking ticket. Always think of the worst of the worst situation Tone! Here's to a happy new year !

Always good to dig a little deeper i.e. do a company check its surprising how many businesses are zombie ones so just because they are established doesn't mean a jot, anymore

So you are in the middle of a load of guys who spend a lot of money on AT, make yours the best looking site and the best stock and you could nick customers off of their adverts. I know your area quite well as I had sites down that way in the 70s and 80s.

Imagine buying a TV from somewhere like Curry’s, then taking it back with sellotape over the top and demanding a refund, but they’re not allowed to look inside the box until you’ve got your money back and left. Can you imagine that working? No different to what’s happening here.

re my previous post page 3 ? he has already refused to pay hearing fee of £170 / struck out/ reapplied / struck out... He paid £115 to start the original claim...... If hes not paid the hearing fee then we quite clearly take for granted hes not receiving help with the fees. SO He has increased the size of the claim [ £3700] To start the the claim will now be £205 the hearing fee will be £335 do you really think he will go ahead ? because i do not, and he is telling you this by "text" on a sunday morning ? mans a fool

I don’t think writing to the courts is a bad thing, just make sure you keep all the evidence. Unfortunately I think this will go to court. You just need to make sure you are seen to be doing the right thing, and you can prove it. I.e offered him the money back following an inspection etc. He is the one being unreasonable not you. The judge won’t care who replied to who or who hasn’t read letters etc. The judge will just look at the facts. You have offered a refund, however following a suspicious set of events you want an inspection first. That’s perfectly reasonable.

Same here, he has shown me a video of him teaching in class and watching him control a class of about 30 kids 13-14 years old was very impressive. He is only 19 and i said to him well done its something I couldn't do myself. I think as a teacher you need to be pretty unflappable and calm when the little shits i mean angels give you grief! I can imagine me as a teacher with an empty classroom as all the kids are in detention! Its funny how certain jobs suit certain people. I just like getting my hands dirty and fixing stuff, more hands on than academic.
