who find the motor is dead

Hi Andrew- welcome.

I wouldn't worry about a two week dry-spell mate!  You'll get much longer droughts than that.

Weather, School holidays, brexit bollocks, interest rates.... pick an excuse.

We've been pretty steady but not setting the world alight.

We have 40-60 and it's not un-heard of.  We've all rang ourself to see if the phone still works I'm sure.

I remember one month of boredom where I bought a dartboard and tried to learn to play.  Like golf- it's not for me. ;0)

Why is the firm called Andrew Clark when the directors are clearly not 'Andrew Clark' ?

I thought Twerp, you would have commented on the pictures of the three people on the home page.  Not something I would do.

Also I wouldn't want that (or any) Autoraper bill!) ;)

To the OP: If you're looking for some tips/suggestions, then I would politely suggest you re-evaluate your picture strategy and photo them all the same way and in the same location.

For example, some are lurched on a kerb and others in grounds.  That blue BMW cab shows an old door off something behind it.  Looks like you do crash repairs. Might just be me. Also, the website doesn't show mileages until you click on the car.  However, I guess most people see it via an advert rather than from the website.

I'm pleased OP that you've sold two already today

Well done! See - it's a funny old game!

Mr Clarke (or whatever your surname may be), don't take this the wrong way however can i genuinely ask if you get the prices you advertise for? Just spotted you have a polo like i have in stock, now autoraper says this should reta2for 4800, your price is 5800 and that's with 695 off? Very interested to hear your answer to this as it will certainly make me think about our pricing.

Maybe because its similar to Arnold Clark?

Nice looking website but photos need improving and its need to show finance examples which it doesn't even though your a finance specialist. A lot dealers call them selves finance specialists but all you do is prop the customer and the finance company do all the legwork.

James Caan's business was called Alexander Mann

Spoiler: His name isn't really James Caan and it's not Alexander Mann either. He explains in his book his exact reasoning but long story short: branding.

Sorry to hear of your loss, and I understand the perspective of branding.

But when one director had been trading as 'David Wright Motors Ltd' until recently with less than favourable reviews it helps build a greater picture as to why you have had trouble with sales recently.

All the best

ferk the beach to many people there for me:ph34r: and i always seem to end up behind the woman i told to do one for trying to claim for a remote control battery 9 months after she bought the car at the ice cream van, making my 99 experience very awkward.

I often found that the punters return about the 10th August ( after factory fortnight holidays ) and you then have your busiest week of the year......Unfortunateley,we don’t have many factories now.
