BHM 994 Posted October 23, 2017 Let’s be honest, it’s no surprise to anyone that sales are down. In fact it seems to be on just about anything and certainly isn’t restricted to vehicles.

Cornish Guy 45 Posted October 23, 2017 TBH I don't think these shares have ever recovered since the crash in 2008.
trade vet 704 Posted October 23, 2017 Just seen this,18% drop,it's an over reaction,if they drop to 21.5p ,I am having 10k,if they drop more ,I'm having some more ! See what happens to Vertu, they could self destruct .
Cornish Guy 45 Posted October 23, 2017 Not inclined to agree. Looking at the accounts of quite a few franchised dealers v their actual stock holding, the physical stock just doesn't exist!

I couldn't get any at 21.5p,now the CEO Trevor Finn has bought £400k worth at 22p,they have bounced a few pence. That is commitment. He has been running the show for years,he is a proper car dealer not a PLC bullshitter.I think I will now wait for 22.7p ( only 2 grands worth ) it is a risk! have a word with the wife 299 Posted December 4, 2017 Pendragon will dispose of its US-based retail group and begin the reduction of its premium franchises in the UK as part of a revised business strategy.

They are expecting to get £100m for their California dealerships and return money to shareholders.I think they may have 8 dealerships out there. How much would you get for 8 dealerships here, you would probably have to pay to get rid of one or two.Vertu have 120 and have a market valuation of £180m !Good news for shareholders.
