Cracking result! Well played....

If he came to your premises, why didn't he pay for it then? Or why doesn't he come back to your premises and pay? I wouldn't be entertaining it, but you're experienced in dealing with screamers/problems/nut jobs/fruit cakes....

Thanks for the feedback. Going to give the Up a miss. (I agree about the i10 and it did cross my mind). I've just bought a cracking low mileage Fiesta 1.2 which I'm hoping will fit the bill....

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

I've got a repeat customer who is after a low mileage 1st car for their son, up to £5k. They've suggested something like a VW Up and gave asked me to keep an eye out for the right car. I've had nothing to do with these, are they any good? Any common issues to watch out for?

Ok great, just treat it like a normal sale then? Assume the MOT & Tax rules are the same over there. I spoke to a local dealer who did one years ago, and seemed to recall havinf to hand over the full V5? But appreciate times have changed.

Hi All, Appreciate I should really know this, but first time it's happened. I've sold a car to a lady from Belfast, she's coming over to collect the car in just over a week. Do I just fill out the new keeper details online like I would normally, and just use the Belfast address obviously. Or is it not quite that simple? And I'm assuming she will need to tax it normally in order to be able to drive it to the ferry port....? (Not sure if the tax system is the same over there). Presumably it would still be worth me supplying a brand new, advisory free MOT? I appreciate I should really know this, but we don't usually deal with type of thing... Cheers

Hubby wants it - Wifey doesn't want it....

Yeah I agree, this has got buyer's remorse all over it, before they've even bought it! Your right to trust your gut instinct, but I know you don't need me to tell you. You're -

I'm sure a quick oil change will suffice -
What does that cost?

All sorted. Cheers.

I need a non-runner picking up from BCA Blackbushe, back to me here near Peterborough. BCA can offer the service, but I could be waiting ages!! Can anyone on here recommend someone trust worthy and reliable who could do it fairly swiftly? Obviously the car would need to be winched on.. Cheers

And here. Saturday’s are so quiet now, I keep thinking about closing Saturday. Now that would be living the dream, a whole weekend off! Or at the very least do viewing by appointment on a Saturday. Very rare that anyone just turns up on a Saturday.

I'm losing patience and tolerance. Advice needed

You know the only good thing about a shit / quiet period? It usually means there’s a purple patch around the corner! I think everyone is suffering idiots at the moment. Don’t let the cretins grind you down.
