  1. I’m just shocked they travelled 5 hours for a Punto?!
  2. Same here! I was watching Bedford UKCGR Low Mileage.....
  3. Ha, I was just about to right something similar....! Pass the popcorn...
  4. I bet they would! Think they've had a bit of a result there... Although I can understand the need / want to get them off your back.
  5. I know exactly what you mean, but they sound like genuine buyers to me....
  6. I know @Rory RSC had one, so he would be a good person to advise....
  7. When it came in for the accident damage, it didn't have a cash machine strapped to it, did it....?!
  8. Service history / timing belt aside, have you seen / got any proof that the timing belt did indeed snap, and that he actually has had a replacement engine. Not that I think he's got a case at all, but unless you've got confirmation from a garage who carried out the work on the replacement engine, or a breakdown report, I'm not sure I'd believe these chain of events....... It's quite probable he's making the whole thing up!!
  9. It's all that practice he's had form adding all those extra 0's to his prices!!! @BHM
  10. I just looked at the Audi and here are my thoughts.... The location looks dodgy, it looks live you've turned down an old track and taken the pics in the middle of nowhere, as a punter would make wonder what you're hiding, doesn't give an overly professional image. Some of the pics are wonky / looks like the car is on the lean.... There's only a mobile number and no landline number, again looks a bit amateurish...... You've put in the description BACS or cash, which is fair enough, but again just sounds a bit amature. Don't get me wrong I'm sure there are good reasons for some of the points above, but just doesn't inspire confidence / look overly professional.... You don't have to have a shiny showroom to give punters a bit of confidence. No offences hope this helps. P.S Agree about the alloy wheel!
  11. No, I always do it 'manually' in dealer portal. I've just spoken to AT about it, although they couldn't give me a definitive answer as to why this one was flagged (I have similar adverts which are still live and fine) she advised not to put the word sold more than once. I had put sold in the attention grabber and the advert text. I was still puzzled why some of my other adverts were still ok, but she gave me a 'virtual' shrug of the shoulders down the phone and just told me to be careful and not use the word sold more than once....
  12. Yeah I agree. It just took me by surprise as I've never had an issue before....
  13. Either way, I can't believe they don't allow you to use the word sold! Perhaps they'll start banning words like mileage, service history etc......
  14. Just checking my stock on AT as it's coming towards the end of the double stock offer. One of the cars is sold, so naturally I've updated the advert to say sold, which I've always done. Sometimes if I take a deposit, I'll update the advert, DEPOSIT RECEIVED, NOW SOLD. This particular advert was showing as not advertised due to having words in the text that were not permitted, SOLD! Since when has this been the case?! So we can't put the word SOLD in our AT ad's now?????
  15. The wonders of facebook advertising.... It's because you're down with the kids....
  16. Where's the like button when you need it?! Like
  17. I was concerned, so contacted DVLA, they aknowledged that there was a back log and said that they were happy to authorise the use of them until the end of Jan. Got my confirmation about a week ago, but oddly they always cash the cheque after I’ve received the confirmation...
  18. Is it that time of the month again....
