£15000 seems to be about right for one of these it would be cheaper to buy some narrow guage rail and a small steam train and drive round the car taking pictures dont forget the whistle though ,customers love whistles

i totally agree you can always tell a prospective sale by the fact the main question is, is it still for sale?,i never get asked best price from these people and when they turn up when they say they will its a privilege to serve them and i tell them so and thank them for the sale

whats up with 'you buying or looking yawl' but changed into english comes out hi, were you just having a general look or were you thinking of buying today this way you've introduced yourself and given them an opportunity to tell you their position in relation to their needs if they have any,it works really well and you weren't being pushy like that hopeless assistyant in currys chasing youi round
-
totally sensible nick its like telling your competition how much you have in a particular motor i understand you came here for the reason the useless autotrader forum was shut i tried it and it was full of crap, this is why i came here its open there is a section for trade only why dont you and epv go there if it so concerns you, frankly i get tired of people leading other people up a path of their choosing ,not mine, that is why i work for ME
-
why dont you just start your own messenger forum and those that want part of your wisdom can go there rather than keep ramming your 'i want everything private on here mantra' ive said it before but will repeat the forum is as it is because its open, this way fresh blood can come in gain experience and hopefully put something in ive never been a left leg, up tickle a jelly and be part of the masons

the car in question on this thread is 4.8L 7 series! 10 years old with 128k do you seriously believe that this would get thrown out, have you been to the small claims court? what do you think trading standards would do to your business if you told a customer his 8 week old car had broken due to age related items ie the reason he bought the car was because this engine should have another 100,000 miles life left minimum, -
left hand right hand use this as your mantra and you dont need to go to the smoking sheds to talk remember we all had to start somewhere if daddy didnt provide so any people looking in theres a vast amount of honest knowledge on here and i prefer it that way im on a couple of dark websites for mechanical/electrical help and help given but we are members across the world not just the uk and the help we give each other on there helps us to stay ahead of a wally who thinks all the answers are on youtube if his engine light comes on i willingly give advice to anybody in this trade if they ask and are willing to use the advice,i always give people 2 strikes and im out mind
